I use this for my sons..

Last winter my 2 and 3 year old boys were getting really chapped lips to the point where they cracked and bled. I have fruity lip balms that moisturize but one time I put it on them temporarily until I got something for them, but they liked the smell and fruity taste and would lick their lips and take it all off haha.. This worked really well and healed their chapped lips, I would put it on once in the morning and for the rest of the day their lips seemed soft and moisturized. And this didn't seem to just temporarily relieve it, it actually healed their lips and after putting this on them everyday for about a week, I noticed their lips weren't so chapped anymore and I didn't have to put it on them so much. The only thing I'm not too crazy about is having to stick my finger in there and then having to wipe my finger off afterwards. So if they made this into a stick it would be perfect! Plus its so tiny and convenient to keep it in my purse and it lasts long. I would recommend this for anyone who likes a simple moisturizer for lips, for kids, Or even for men as my husband also likes this.

I Really Disliked This

I thought from the cute little package that this was going to be like regular Vaseline only in a very portable size. I was very disappointed to find that not only was it horribly sticky but it's not even the same thing. It's white petrolatum. Not petroleum jelly. Two very different things apparently. This does not melt onto you lips. You really have to drag your lips to apply it and it's so stick...read morey that your lips stick together while you're talking. Very uncomfortable to wear. I will stick to the regular Vaseline in the slightly smaller tub over in the travel size section on the supermarket.

Not bad, not great

I love the cute compact size and I actually don't mind how it feels (even though I usually don't like a sticky-at-all feeling). However, I do feel like this balm, though making my lips smooth, eventually made them peel. I wonder if anyone else had that too?

Excellent for non-lipstick users!

I love this product so much! It comes in this cute little pocket sized tube/pot thing. It does smell like cocoa butter too! It's very thick and creamy. You open up the top of the pot, put your finger in and chose as much as you want to slab onto your lips. I'd say it works best for moisturizing your lips, I'm not so sure about cracked lips. I probably wouldn't go for this if your lips are in terri...read moreble shape just because it doesn't have any medicated function to it. Also, it doesn't make your lips look greasy but I wouldn't wear this over lipstick just because it might take the color off. Other than that, it's amazing.

Mini Vaseline!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!!! I have EXTREMELY dry,crusty,wrinkly, chapped lips!!! You don't even know. I can never wear lipgloss/lipstick because my lips are so dry and this is my LIFE SAVER. PLUS it's super cute!!! The only thing that is kinda eh is the packaging. Sticking my finger in it every time was a little eh.

Besty for dry lips

I have tried all kinds of lip therapy for my dry, easily cracked lips. From burts beez to sephora brands. My biggest problem is that nothing lasts very long. It all just temporarily relieves the dryness but it always comes back with in 30 minutes to an hour. Continuously reapplying chap stick get's annoying. Then I discovered this tube of greatness. I agree it pretty much is just vaselline b...read moreut I'm writing a review on this specific item. I enjoy the convenience of the small tube so I can reapply through out the day. I am also going to purchase the bigger container and try it on my dry heels as well. For anyone that is wanting a small, portable, long lasting chap stick I highly recommend this. And also, it isn't super sticky so you don't have to worry about it sticking your fingers together and since one application lasts for hours, you don't have to keep reapplying. :)

I agree with the review above me. I love this stuff and I use it nightly, but I bought a container of the bigger Vaseline for $2.99 on sale at Target while this tiny pot was $2 at Target. I keep the bigger one on my nightstand and apply it to my lips, heels, and hands before bed. Unless you need the convenience of a smaller canister, save your money and just buy the bigger one for $0.99 more. You get more and it's the same product.

Waste of money

The vaseline lip theropy is a waste of money. Its 100% vaseline and you can get a huge container for the same price. Save your money!!!

Vaseline Lip Therapy Original

I love this stuff! I keep a container by my bed as part of my night time ritual and it works like a dream. I wake up every morning to super soft lips. The container is way cute as well; it looks just like a miniature classic Vaseline. The only drawback for me is that it's the type of lip product that one has to apply with fingers.
