Hard to Get Into Corners

I agree with the prior reviewer on the difficulty of getting to the darker shades in the small corners of the package. I also bought English Rose (which goes really well with the new Scadal Eyes eye liner in Taupe, by the way LOL). The shades are all cool toned neutrals, with a pale pink highlighter shade and is perfect for day. The Union Jack design looks cool but I wish it was easier to get t...read morehe shades out. Hard To Use

I found this eye shadow difficult to use the colors that were around the central color due to the small size of the pans. The color payoff isn't that good either. Cute design though.

Hit or miss

I've tried about 5 of these shadows. English Rose is my absolute favorite. I love it. It's my go to look. Some of the other quads are a bit more hit or miss. The pigmentation isn't so great on a few of them. But that isn't a huge problem, when you wet them they are much more vibrant. The other thing is the way they are packaged. Some of the shadows are in little TINY rectangles and triangles. If you're brush is too big there is no way to get the color out.

I got the English oak palette and I really like it. The pigment is strong and it lasts ok. Worth the money.

Good concept, so-so execution

I got this shadow in English Rose, with various pink and brown shades. I was really attracted to the colours and the cool Union Jack graphic (the Olympics were on in London). There is a little map on the back to help you know which colour goes where, but actual application suffers, because the darker colours are in these little tiny triangles and hard to get at with a brush. The colours are are no...read moret super pigmented, so you might need two swoops of colour but they have nice shimmer and aren't glittery. They blend well and will last a few hours at least.
