Carol's Daughter Monoi Repairing Conditioner Reviews

Really Makes Your Hair Manageable
I used the Monoi shampoo, and it didn't suds up much. But, after I rinsed out the shampoo, my hair was so clean and not tangly. The reason I mention the shampoo is because I use the shampoo and conditioner. So, I applied the conditioner, and left it on for about 3-4 minutes while I applied body gels, etc. After I rinsed it out, my hair was unbelievable. I could run my fingers through it with no tangles. After I air dried it, it wasn't fuzzy, and looked really shiny and was more manageable. I curled my hair with a curling iron, and the results were perfect. The curl stayed in for a change. I highly recommend this product. — 8 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 6 people said helpful

Lovely Scent + Leaves Hair silky smooth
When a product smells good, it just sets the right mood and makes my day that much better. I mean you have to deal with your hair all day, so why not have it smelling amazing. That's just my two cents on why this product deserves to be praised for it's unique yet quite lovely alluring scent. I mean I can't put my hand on what exactly that scent is but if I were to guess, it's probably the Monoi Oil - "an ancient recipe made from the rejuvenating Tahitian Tiare Gardenia Flower and Coprah Coconut Oil. So not only does this Monoi Oil smell amazing, it also helps to repair fine, delicate, and chemically treated hair which sounds exactly like my hair type. This Monoi Repairing conditioner definitely helps to cleanse and detangle while also restoring strength to my hair! I enter the shower not knowing what to expect from this product, but I come out feeling beautiful knowing that my hair is being repaired and getting stronger with each passing moment. To have it smell amazing is just an extra-added bonus that’s like the icing on the cake! Simply wet your hair in the shower, and after you’ve used shampoo, go ahead and apply some of this Bamboo water and Pro-vitamin B5 enriched conditioner to help fortify distressed hair against breaks and snaps. There’s also the pre caution as with any other conditioner is to keep it out of your delicate precious eyes! I simply close my eyes when I’m rinsing so that’s not something I need to worry about. Washing your hair no longer seems like a chore and is actually quite enjoyable when you’re washing your hair with Carol’s Daughter’s Monoi Repairing conditioner. That’s right, not only does this shampoo smell good, it’s also good for your hair as well! — 8 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 3 people said helpful

Did the opposite of repairing my hair
I tried both Carol's Daughter Monoi Repairing Shampoo and Conditioner, and they didn't seem to help my hair at all--in fact, they seemed to do the exact opposite. I have a lot of hair, but it's fine and color-treated and quite damaged. I was hoping that this sulfate-free formula would be gentle and moisturizing, but it actually seemed to make my hair more dry and tangled after I'd used it. The scent is quite strong--kind of smells like hairspray, but I think it's the monoi oil and the gardenia. Someone said my hair smelled great! But these products didn't work for me at all. :( The conditioner formula seemed great and moisturizing in the shower, but after I'd washed it out, my hair felt awful. — 8 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 4 people said helpful

The scent for the conditioner is not as strong as the scent for the shampoo, which is a good thing if you don't really like a fruity/tropical scent. It make my hair feel soft. — 8 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Smells great
I love the smell of this and overall really enjoyed the conditioner - when I used it with a product other than the accompanying shampoo. The conditioner is creamy, but not too thick and didn't weigh down my hair. — 8 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Just ok.
I also have really thick, chemically treated hair with really bad split ends. This conditioner seemed gentle enough since it doesn't contain sulfates. So I tried it, and I think it smells wonderful. The formula is really thick, however, it did not make my hair softer, like I expected. Totally the opposite, my hair felt hard and just not soft to the touch, and tangled, even when it was wet. It might work better for people with finer hair, but not for people with hair like mine. I actually had to apply other conditioner, because my hair was so tangled. The shampoo is good; the conditioner not so much. — 8 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Worked on my thick hair
I tried a sample of this conditioner and was pleasantly surprised it managed my very thick hair. The conditioner is thick and smells great. It made my hair manageable, soft and shiny. I used a blow dryer and flat iron after and it took the heat well. — 8 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
