I liked it
I love the Julep colors! They are so pretty! The good: the color are very vibrant. It is also fast drying and I only had to apply two coats, vs three or four with others that I have tried. It really does not leave any streaks and once it has dried you get a solid, attractive finish. That is the good. The bad (in my experience): I got one because one of my friends had it in a pretty pastel color, but really, $14 dollars is a bit too much for nail polish, in my opinion. It also did not last as long as I had wished, chipping within three days. This is a good one, but definitely not my favorite. For two more dollars I get MAC nail polish at Sephora and it lasts longer. Would I buy again, probably, because it is not a bad product, and I do think the colors are super cute. Overall not bad.
I find that Julep polishes are hit and miss. They have wonderful colors, but sometimes you get a creme that is a perfect consistency, has the flat brush for better application, then you get different creme color with the round brush, it's thick and applies horribly. I have an earlier metallic pink that leaves silver streaks where the brush overlaps during application and I have later metallics that apply wonderfully. The glitters so far have been decent. not too little or too many glitter chunks. They have a wide variety of colors. Good polish colors
I am a julep Maven, and I've enjoyed the service. Their colors are always on-trend and innovative, and it is very economical to order through the Maven service. Formulation tends to vary- sometimes they can be a little streaky or gloppy, but isn't that the truth with any polish brand?
