Delightful Deal with this Brush
This is a dense, wonderful brush for applying facial powders. I normally use a sponge when I put on Lancome's "Dual Finish Versatile Powder Foundation," but there is a decided, more perfected appearance when I use this brush. It is great for buffing on a setting powder like Hourglass Cosmetic's "Ambient Lighting Powders," as long you remember to use a light touch. How can you possibly go wrong with $3.00 for a sleek, attractive, effective brush? You can't! — 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 6 people said helpful

E.L.F. STUDIO POWDER BRUSH
I was so happy when I knew I was going to the US for work last year, because it meant I would finally get to visit Target! Anyway, first thing I did was run to the makeup section, and was so happy to see that they sold ELF!! I got a couple of things, but what impressed me the most was the brushes. I got this powder brush because I've always wanted a flat top brush so I could stipple on my powder, and also I was hoping the edges would help me chisel my face shape better with a bronzer. For 3 bucks I didn't have super high hopes for the brush, and it performed quite well for the chiseling effect. I didn't use it for all over powdering because I always stuck with my kabuki brushes for that. Then not long ago when I got kinda lazy doing my makeup, I started using the same brush (right after my bronzer) as an all over face powder brush as well. It was pretty good and worked the same as my kabuki brushes, if not, better. It's nice not having to pull out 10 different brushes in the morning... really. I'd rather sleep for an extra minute. I also think that the left over bronzer on my brush gave my face a more even tone when I used it again for the powder. Quality wise, the hair was quite scratchy at the beginning, but after the conditioning, it got a lot softer. I also hate how the brush is so heavy near the hair, which makes it kinda hard to lay on the counter without it falling into the sink (ew). Anyway, good brush for 3 bucks! But nothing super amazing in my opinion. I normally use a sponge to apply my foundation and I just never got a full coverage look. I have acne issues with scarring. I used it in the morning with my liquid foundation and it gave me a great med coverage. I didnt want it too heavy for work but i know when i want a full coverage to go out at night it will do the trick. I bought one for my powder as well and i love both uses! i need to stock up on these brushes! i did notice a little shedding at first after first wash but nothing since. This is a fantastic brush for applying foundation. I have been looking for a reasonably priced synthetic flat top brush for a while and was willing to spend more than the $3 that I did for this brush, but when I came across it in Target, I knew I needed to test it out. As soon as I brought it home, I used it to buff on my liquid foundation and it was amazing. It is so soft and has a great weight. I think I may need another because want a separate one for powder too! — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 32 of 66 people said helpful

Well/Decent Brush
Let's start with the pros of this ELF Studio Powder Brush. The price is unbeatable by any other brush as all ELF's studio brushes are usually three dollars a piece, and you can usually get discounts (just search for ELF discounts if you don't see a good discount on the website itself). If three dollars a price is too expensive for you, try their regular brush line which are only a dollar a piece. I know, how does this company stay in business with such ridiculous prices? Because they have customers like me who just keep going back, I've literally bought hundreds of dollars of makeup from them throughout the years. Back to the powder brush: so the price is amazing, now the quality of the brush is also relatively decent. The bristles are soft, and the flat top can pick up a lot of powder and applies mineral foundation well. Also, the black color just looks so professional, so I just really love using the the brush. Of course, the downside is the hassle of cleaning. Let me tell you, cleaning the insides of this brush and letting it dry can take more than a few hours, so don't expect this to use it right away if you're going to wash it. To me, I can get lazy sometimes and forget to wash it, and so bacteria and dirt really gets stuck on it, and I end up having to throw it away before I can wash it and use it away. Don't get lazy like me, wash your brushes when you need to, and let them lay flat with ample time to dry so that the life of your brush can be extended. But honestly, for three dollars a piece, you can be buying yourself a new brush every year and still have enough money to treat yourself to something else. Again, soft bristles, affordable price, applies powder products like mineral foundation, bronzer and blush well. Nothing to lose, but to give this brush a try! — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 22 of 54 people said helpful

Great
Great brush! I've recently discovered how great it is for applying foundation. First of all, you get to build the coverage gradually and smoothly, secondly, despite the thickness of bristles, they don't soak up the foundation, so you don't waste much of it (for real, try it! it's so amazing!). I This brush is also easy to wash and dry fast. It is very soft, put together well, looks and feels expensive. A must-have! And you can't possibly beat the price! — 6 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 9 of 13 people said helpful

Go ahead..Spend the $3
I was a little skeptical... A $3 powder brush? I was sure I was just going to be sad and hoped I spend the $3 on chocolate like every girl. BUT, I was happily surprised by the results of this brush. It is amazing, the coverage it delivers with even just a BB cream (i love me some bb cream) is amazing! it def creates a flawless canvas even with my problematic skin. It is easily cleaned and holds it shape! I deducted 2 stars for the packaging, when I purchased it, it was all squashed and didnt have a shape, after the first wash (right out of the package) it had a full thick shape that has held up for 6 months. From this one brush my collection has grown to include more elf brushes. Recommended by me for sure! — 5 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

It's great for the price and does the job — 1 year, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 5 people said helpful

I use this with their HD Blush. I use it to stipple it around on my cheeks so it blends. And you can't beat the price. — 7 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful
