Lovely Palette for Outstanding Eyes!

Ah, palettes. The more they produce palettes, the more I will continue to purchase them. Physician's Formula first created "Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Shadow and Liner" in a mix of colors to accentuate your own natural eye color. They did a splendid job! Physician's Formula shows you how to crea...read morete natural, playful, and dramatic looks by using them either wet or dry. They do have a subtle sheen, but it is not overwhelming. When put over a good primer, they glide on pretty easily and wear a good while. They may not be as buttery as Hourglass or Dior Cosmetics formulas, but they are user-friendly, to be sure. I was so pleased with the way my green eyes stood out that I went on to purchase other palettes. They have them for smoky eyes. There is a relatively new collection based on UD's "Nude" palettes. These hues are all in the beige and brown family. I normally just keep the applicator which comes with shadows for touch-ups, but this one is unique; it is a triangular, solid velour edge which gives you a lot of control when contouring or highlighting. For a price of about $10.00, you can't possibly go wrong with these collections. Bravo, Physician's Formula!

Eye Candy Eyeshadow

Not worth it.

I got this eyeshadow palette from a friend for my birthday. The vibrant colors showed promise but the application proved otherwise. With primer the colors were washed-out looking, and took several applications to get a decent color. The shadows were hard, which made it more difficult to apply. Usually even in humidity the primer still holds its place, which really makes the products of physician's formula questionable. In my opinion, it just is a waste of money.

Don't get it

Not that great, not finely milled and not pigmented. The shadows are hard, you're better off spending your money on wet n wild, much cheaper and wayyyy better, comparable to Mac
