It really gives a good matte finish.

Best setting powder ever!
I bought this when it first released about a year ago. I usually used studio fix powder...not because i liked it but it was all that would last me the longest with minimal touchups. But I hated the fix plus powder, it felt heavy, and so itchy around my nose. So anyway I tried this and it works even better! Lightweight, not cakey, and lasts forever! Maybe one touch up if even that! I will forever use this powder over any other foundation/ setting powder.
