Its pretty good
msbrown822 (190 reviews)I actually like this mascara, it lengthens my lashes and makes my eyes look brighter. The illuminator really doesn't do much, I assume because the base is black so its hard to see. It doesn't irritate my eyes, doesn't clump, and doesn't leave a mess. It makes me wonder how some of these other women are applying it that its ending up all over the place. — 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

You can get more effects than what you may think
evet (8 reviews)I don't typically like mascara, unless it has color to it, and it has to lengthen without being sticky, or smudge on to my face. The only drawback for someone may be it is not waterproof, but it is not going to be bothersome for contact wearers or sensitive eyes. I use it with the one sweep eyeshadow for my brown eyes to accentuate them and make them look larger. Then, I actually like to use the shimmering color over the top tips only. I also, like to highlight the lid itself by using it over the eyeshadow, just patting it on, or using it just like a liner with a soft brush. I think the puffed out end on the illuminating end is not to my suiting, but you don't have to put that part to your eyelashes. There are choices, and I don't think you have to necessarily follow what the color scheme tells you goes with your eye color. I don't like thick, clumpy lashes, rather soft, natural, but longer. I take a thick brush and comb it through without losing lashes, if you do it with a soft brush and gently. I recommended that a friend check it out for herself. She does not need to lengthen her lashes, but I know she likes to get different looks, and plays with color like I do. Since it goes on sale all the time now, and is seen in the women's magazines, compared to just the regular same old, same old, it would be a change. It is probably one of the most useful types of mascara to work with. I also got it ,for my first sample as a BzzAgent, the campaign has completed-but I would be obligated anyway to give my opinion as I saw it. So, here it is and unless something changes, I give it a good score, because of the price you can get it for. — 1 year agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Didn't Really Notice Any "Illumination"...Not Impressed
jenn8779 (65 reviews)I received the Black Quartz shade, as a BzzAgent, for brown eyes. My first issue is that the wand for the black base coat side (between the brush and the handle) is too short and made it hard to apply. The basecoat formula was "okay" but not impressive. The illuminating topcoat applied okay, not a lot of clumping, but didn't really "illuminate" my eyes and none of my friends even noticed I was wearing it. This might be nice for the holidays or for those who go clubbing but I wasn't impressed and it definitely isn't something I'd use for daily wear. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
