Smells great, but there's a catch...

This is by far one of the worst Garnier products I have ever used. It smells delightful, but it actually made the problem ten times worse. No matter how much rinsing you do, you're also left with some of the blue scrubbing dots stuck to your scalp. Not hot!! Plus, this did nothing to help the dryness and it made me scalp itch like crazy. My husband loves it

My husband has been using Selsun blue for a few years now, at least ever since he decided to buzz his hair real short. He was a bit skeptical at first because, as he described it, it smelled too girly. But after his shower, he could only smell a faint clean hint of it without any overpowering lingering perfumes. And maybe it's too soon to tell, but he also liked the fact that he didn't have any dandruff issues either. Yay! A success. Now I'm tempted to use it too, but this shampoo might be a bit strong for my fragile curly hair.

Didnt work for me...

Sadly to say that this did not get rid of dandruff at all.. I was so excited to see that Garnier came out with this because they usually have great products. When I used it, it made my dandruff even worse. I tried it for about a week thinking that maybe it needed time to create any results but it just didnt do anything. I have a half full bottle sitting in my shower =( It does smell good though so thats a plus.

Only Anti-Dandruff that works for me!

Over my teen years I started suffering from terrible itching on my scalp with all drug store brands of shampoos and conditioners. I started using Neutrogena T-Gel Shampoo which is great but, the smell of Coal Tar isn't the best on hair. After trying many drug store brand Anti-Dandruff Shampoos including Pantene and Head & Shoulder (which made my hair 100x worse! It even made flake and i scratched...read more my scalp so much it bled! ) I saw Garnier Anti-Dandruff (back then the bottle was green) and it worked great! The smell was pleasant enough, my itchy scalp gradually disappeared! I've been using it four about 3 years now and I think twice before trying other shampoos! The only downside is, it doesn't provide my hair with moisturizing effects so it gets a little dry, but i solve that with a good conditioner!
