Not as good as Bare minerals

I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the bare minerals foundation that I love. This product is not as good. Its too shimmery and doesn't build well. It's ok when you only need a little powder but when you have problem areas to cover it ends up looking caked on like a liquid foundation. Also the packaging is poorly designed and makes it hard to use and keep closed. I still plan to use it for light makeup days but wouldn't buy it again.

Compared to other products = ehh

I am not impressed physicians formula! I really am disappointed with this product. I did get it on clearance so I am happy to say, it won't hurt the budget. I took a chance. It does not easily blend or wear. The packaging is also messy and could open up on you. It is not a very soft textured powder either.

Natural Look

I love this powder! I looks slightly shimmery, but still natural. It's also perfect for me being able to choose between sheer coverage and full coverage depending on how I'm feeling about my skin. Physician's Formula is also the only foundation I could find at the drug store that's light enough for my skin tone! Their lightest colour is just pale enough to blend in to my skin while the darker shad...read moree in the pack is good for contouring and when my skin gets a bit darker in the summer. Overall, a very solid go-to foundation pick.

Didn't work for me...

I'm 19 years old with sensitive combination skin. I have dry skin if it's dry outside and oily if it's overly humid/hot. This foundation did nothing for my complexion. The coverage is way too light and when I wear it alone it makes my skin look dull.

shimmery skin

I'm not a fan of this powder. It makes my skin look shimmery and makes imperfections stand out more. I would not recommend this to anyone with oily or acne prone skin.

I've tried it all....

I'm 49 and my skin is now very dry, along with dark spots & some minor redness. I also have recently developed a severe allergy to cosmetics. Everything I've used (MAC, Stila, Sephora, Clinique...has, not only left me miserable with upper respiratory symptoms, but left my face flakey ~ or worse! HOWEVER, PF mineral foundation is great. My Go-To Powder

This powder looks and feels completely natural, which is exactly what I look for in a powder. It conceals my imperfections, yet does not look caked on. I use the light side far more than the dark, but come summertime I can test out the darker on my tanned skin, as well as the SPF claims. Overall, I recommend this product for anyone who is going for a pretty, natural look.
