Disappointed
I got a sample of this product and had high hopes for it, but was extremely disappointed. While it did deep condition my hair, it also really irritated my skin. It is very highly fragranced. Fragrance is closer to the top of the ingredient list (meaning it is present in greater amounts) than many of the ingredients that would benefit my hair. It had a really strong sweet, coconut like smell. It started to sting a bit and caused redness and bumps on my sclap, face, and neck. I had to rinse it off right away and threw the rest of the sample out. I'm sure I've used worse but...
I went from nearly virgin, totally healthy, long hair to extremely processed within about a year. I changed my color and style constantly and having naturally (almost) black hair, you can only imagine how much peroxide, dyes and tints my poor hair had seen. I was in desperate need of repair. I purchased this with the Nexxus Emergencee (it was recommended to deep condition after using) assuming it would be a good choice. I couldn't have been more wrong. I should have returned both products but decided to finish them instead. Was a total waste of $20+!!! Helped to Heal My Hair!
Regardless of what the fools who rated it bad said, I think this product is a great deep conditioner. It smells so good! I love it. The texture of it is really cool too! It's different, and I like it. It gave me super soft hair and my hair wasn't greasy. My hair looked healthier after using it for awhile and I'm sure the other reviewers just didn't give it a chance. I only gave it 9 stars because I had to give it a chance. It took 2 uses to start repairing my hair. When I say two uses to work, I mean as in to work on repairing my hair. During the 2 uses my hair was still nice, shiny but not over shiny, and soft. My hair is never soft, so this stuff does work! I really like it. It really does work amazingly! I really love it, and it lasts a long time.
