Great styling product

You really can't miss with Pantene as long as you use the correct product for your hair type and it is reasonably priced. I don't know if I believe any of these products actually protect your hair from heat (how can that work-doesn't make much sense ), but it does make fine hair shiny and smooth without looking stringy or greasy which is the big challenge when dealing with fine hair. They also changed the design of the sprayer to a pump which creates a fine spray which is a huge improvement over the nozzle which sprayed a stream and made a mess and applied too much product to your hair. Be sure to get the pump if you try this product.

A decent product

This is a decent product, I will agree about the way it sprays out. Kind of like in a stream, would be better in a true spray form...like how the tresseme heat protectant comes out. Its not heavy at all...like some heat protectants are. I spray it in my hands and apply that way. I use the Pantene root lifter spray on roots, Pantene keratin protection creme on ends/mid shaft, and then the heat prot...read moreectant worked in all over, then blow dry with round brush,and smooth with flat iron. Not sure if it's the best- haven't used a lot of heat protectant products, but I like the actual product better than tresseme, and one other I tried from Sally's. Also, it's a heat protectant and SHINE spray. I can't say if long term it's protected from heat but it seems to. And does provide plenty of lightweight shine. Overall good product at good price.

Pantene Pro-V Fine Hair Solutions Heat Protection & Shine

You know, I am a total Patene nut.;) I love the line, shampoo's, styling, basically most I have used. Of course some I can't. Due to medications and hair loss I have to be careful. It's crazy really.. One month I buy this.. another month that. always switchin up. But always for color-treated~~and fine. So I purchase the plumped it up and volumizing stuff. I dont like the nozzle, comes out like its attacking you. And my hair feels kind of well,, weird.. it's ok.. I'll go back to Sammy.. ~

Makes hair feel dry

I've used this a few times but I am still on the fence about throwing it out or using it up. This spray makes my hair feel dry - I prefer heat protection sprays that also feel like they condition. This could just be a personal preference. Not sure if it protects my hair from the heat of the blowdryer and straight iron - I haven't noticed a diffrence.
