Supposedly a cult favorite...but didn't work for me
I tried this on my curly hair (which I regularly straighten) after reading an article that touted this as a "secret" standby of hairstylists to achieve really good, smooth, not weighed down blowouts. I think maybe my somewhat fine textured hair just isn't right for this product. I think it would be good for those with coarse, curly hair but even then there are products that will help to achieve straightness but also provide the much-needed moisture and shine that curly girls need. I would skip this unless, you too, are absolutely intrigued and must try for yourselves. Works wonders
I've never used this to wrap my hair, but I've used it for roller sets and updo's. I wouldn't recommend it for roller sets, because the curls fell immediately. What a waste of time! Updo's and simple ponytails are another story. I keep flyaways tamed with this at ALL times. It works very well when applied to hair sections just before hot curling with a curling iron as well.
