This one goody product actually appealed to me more than the spin pin; the modern updo looks so cute!...when you can do it. The problem with this product is the simplicity or lack there of. I've tried this on multiple hair lengths and types, and consistently have issues with it. I'd say after practice, it can be done one out of ten times perfectly. Three out of those ten, you'll get an awkward version that looks okay and doesn't stay well. Two out of the ten, it'll work- if you're willing to hank half your hair out. The other four out of ten? Doesn't happen at all. When you put this through your bun then lift and push down, it mostly just pierces your scalp and it did not hold in my hair type (thick, coarse, straight).
