I have long hair and this is a little to light weight for me. So I gave this too my mom who has fine hair and it worked great it's not greasy and tacky, gave her some nice volume. It does smell really good, but you do need a hair spray for hold. My hair did look more bodified after using this, but not much. That being said, for me, this was not worth the price tag when I could get better results with a product that is a fraction of the cost. Also, the volume gained did fall flat by the end of the day for me.
