Stick with the original
I love this mascara! It really makes my eyelashes very full and not clumpy. I don't know about the shimmer it really didn't show on my eyelashes so I definitely will buy again but I think I'll buy the regular one.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Better than the original
Great volume, doesn't flake, doesn't smudge, doesn't clump, goes on easily, and it;s cheap! The shimmer? If I stare into my medicine cabinent mirror with my face 2 inches from the glass I can make out a subtle shimmer...barely. I didn't notice the eye brightening effects that the packages claims, however I think the shimmer softened the black just enough to make the color more flattering on my eye...read mores (which is why I like it more than the original). Not Luxe
This mascara is not bad. It has a good wand to prevent clumps, darkens the lashes, and lengthens them a tad. However, I didn't see an improvement in thickness and I still had to comb out my eye lashes a bit. I would say good for a subtle look, but not for drama. As far the luxe goes, I could only see the added gleam when I looked very very closely in a mirror. Better than the original Lashblast!

One of the best mascaras out there
Just like previous reviews have stated it is not as shimmery as say the covergirl eyelites mascara but that's why i like it. I didn't look up and see clumpy shimmers on my lashes. Great Mascara, shimmer doesn't show though
While this mascara has the same qualities of LashBlast, there is little shimmer on my eyelashes when I put this on. I still buy this and use it because it separates my lashes and makes them very long. This mascara seems to be a little lighter in color than the regular lashblast. So depending on how dark I want my lashes to look that day, I either use this mascara or the regular lashblast. CoverGirl LashBlast Luxe Mascara

so where's the shimmer?
this is just the lashblast in different colors--I used the blue for daywear and found it did brighten my light blue eyes--but I use the regular black lashblast for nights or going out--I bought my mother-in-law the cabernet to match her plum hair--it does bring out her brown eyes and matches her hair--but there is no shimmer whatsoever--I really don't know what a 'shimmer' is suppose to do for you...read more anyway--that's why I gave it 7 stars because it doesn't deliver on the shimmer--otherwise I think its great for an alternative color--I would assume the black platinum would just look grey so why not just go for the regular black and its @ $1 cheaper?This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
