Great Primer
This is great as a primer to smooth, calm, and even out red skin tone. I used it under foundation that was too sheer and did not even out my skin. I love the fact it has spf15. It is not fragranced and excellent on sensitive skin. I love the tube packaging to keep the product sanitary and potent. Maybe for seasonal use?
This base has a green tint to it to help camouflage any redness in your skin. It does a great job of that, but it does feel a bit heavy and can leave a green tint on your skin if you don't blend it in incredibly well. I tried this alone after the cleanser and cream cause massive breakouts, and was pleasantly surprised that this didn't cause the same problem. Covers my red areas
This base works well to put on before I start my makeup routine because it really covers my red skin without appearing blotchy or unnatural. I really feel like it does a great job protecting my skin because it absorbs into my skin and provides an SPF for all day protection. Also, I can wear this alone on my red areas and feel good when I go outside! I gave it a 9 only because it does smell a little bit funny and even though most Clinique products don't really have a smell, they don't smell like this.
