  I dont know about you...

  But I love everything about this mascara. I think it really does live up to the claim of making lashes longer. It doesn't clump AT ALL!!! and it really separates them nicely. I normally get waterproof mascara because my eyes water, but I have the normal kind of this one, and it stays on all day, doesn't flake or smear, and ...comes off when I want it to. I also really love the wand, the bristles are perfect and lengthen nicely. The mascara doesn't always coat the brush well, but that can be solved by swirling the wand in the bottom of the tube. I really don't understand why this has such low ratings, because I LOVE this mascara. February 14, 2010, 11:54 am

  Hate it!

  I bought this with big hopes and now I am just sick about it, lol. So... 1st its dry and pasty, fresh out to the package. I saw dry flakes sitting on top of the brush on the very first application before it ever touched my eys. 2nd, it is grey - not black. There is no shine at all. 3rd, it was hard to get anything on the br...ush and took many coats to do what you would normally get in one coat with other mascaras. So.... I do not like this but because I bought it and hate wasting money I will use it in combnination with the other mascaras that I have that are not worthy to be worn alone. November 5, 2009, 11:24 am

  original lashblast is much better

  I accidentally bought this mascara in brown so it is very light, and really doesnt give much length (or volume) at all. I really regret buying it over the original lashblast (one of the BEST mascaras I've ever used). If you want anything from the lashblast line get the original, it gives great length and volume.   Not quite good enough to live up to the LashBlast name

  I love love love CoverGirl's regular LashBlast mascara because it's the only drugstore brand I've found that really makes an impact on the size of your lashes. With the LashBlast Length, I didn't see much change. The bristles are very short and can't carry the formula well. After taking the brush out of the tube, if you loo...k at the brush, you can see through the formula and see the yellow bristles. I could understand if that happened with a lighter color, but I always use the darkest blackest black possible (in this case Very Black) and never before have I seen the bristles of the brush so much. As for the effect is has on your lashes, it's really not noticeable. I mean, it does lengthen somewhat, but that's all and it does a poor job at that. If you want a bit of length without much color, this is for you. If you want anything else with the length like volume, color, etc, then this is not something you should spend $7-8 on. But since I did pay about $8 for it, I use my LashBlast Length as an eyelash comb that adds slight color and a tad of length and then I layer the regular LashBlast or another mascara over it. So for those who already have it I suggest the comb trick, for those who don't have it, save your money. November 23, 2009, 8:55 pm

  Since I love the original LashBlast mascara, I was dying to try this one since I always want my lashes to look their longest. However, this was a big letdown. The brush is too thin and two coats are required to see any noticeable change. All this did was add color to my lashes. This added no length to my lashes.   pretty good

  This mascara doesn't smudge and lasts quite a long time. It is fairly easy to remove with makeup remover and doesn't irritate my eyes. It doesn't add volume, but it's not supposed to, so its okay. It separates my lashes, doesn't clump, and isn't super dramatic so it's good for day to day use. February 11, 2010, 3:20 pm

  I don't like this mascara at all.

  This mascara, after 5 coats, is barely noticable, and there is NO length at all! The little amount on your lashes barely lasts either. I recommend Maybelline, Rimmel, and Almay mascara so much more than Covergirl in general. January 9, 2010, 3:05 pm

  Length? Cover Girl has a twisted sense of humor

  So I wanted to try a mascara specifically for lengthening purposes. This is not it. Not even close. It does separate marvelously and it was able to reach those itty-bitty lashes in the corner of my eyes. There was absolutely NO length that I would consider apparent, let alone 'substantial' as CG advertises. Very natural... look, but I won't be buying this again. January 6, 2010, 9:38 am

  Black, Spred-out Lashes-- Hardly Any Lenght

  This is the mascara I use currently, mainly because I can't find anything else that separates without clumps at the ends of my lashes. This mascara makes my lashes very spread out and dark black, and immediate length. But then they seam to droop down. I have long lashes naturally, but they don't stand up straight. They ...are a little higher than normal, but not super high or anything special. It lasts all day, and is pretty good with coverage, but don't get your hopes up with length, December 27, 2009, 5:15 pm
