    Pump up the volume!

I tried an experiment with this once- putting it on one eye with lash primer and one without. Believe it or not I couldn't tell a difference between the two! WOW! So I love Lash DNA for when I'm in a hurry but still want to have a little bit of a put together look. It goes on quick and easy, doesn't need lots of layers and provides high impact kapow! BRAVO! Smashbox rarely disappoints and here's another winner. — 2 weeks, 3 days ago

    Love it!! Perfect!

This mascara is outstanding! The fat brush is great for volume and length, plus the formula lasts all day! I have straight lashes that point down - I curl them, then apply this and bam! It completely opens up my eyes and makes me look wide-awake. I have no issues with this mascara, except that Sephora doesn't sell it anymore. ;-( — 1 year, 8 months ago

    Pretty good

I've come to expect a better product from Smashbox, however this mascara left me wanting more, like more volume and length. Still a Smashbox fan though. Just not this particular mascara. — 1 year, 8 months ago

    Need Improvement

I received a sample of this with an order. PROS: Gorgeous lashes IF your wand is not over-saturated Only need one application for thick, full coverage. CONS If you have too much on your wand, it will be messy. A lot of people think the brush is too large, but I find that it is an innovative design if used correctly. Dries and flakes. Irritates very sensitive eyes (like mine) SO...Smashbox has got a good wand design down, but needs to improve the formula. If users are getting messy, clumpy lashes, try wiping your wand off and re-dipping. — 3 years ago

    Pretty good

Yes, this mascara is quite goopy and will ruin your washcloth when you try to wash it off. However, when I use this mascara I get a TON of compliments. All the women I worked with asked me what kind of mascara I was using the first day I wore this to work. It has a nice eye-opening effect, which is good for someone with small eyes like me. But it is very very goopy and if you sweat or get rained on, you will look like Elvira. It is also an extreme pain to wash off. I am willing to suffer to get the look it gives me, but definitely not an every day mascara. — 3 years, 5 months ago

    Could be better

I love the formula (looks as if you have naturally beautiful lashes) Only downside is that the brush is quite bulky to reach the corners I had to hold vertically — 3 years, 6 months ago

    Not Bad, but Awkward

The mascara itself is...probably better than adequate. It doesn't clump during application, which is wonderful! The black is QUITE black - it works nicely for me, but a more fair-complected person might want to stick with a brownish color. The downsides of the product are these: The brush isn't tapered, as another poster noted - this makes it difficult to get the inner and outer corners of the eyes without dabbing product on one's skin. Also, I find that, by the end of the evening, it tends to migrate downward. As for cost: I received this product as a sample, so I've no idea of the relative value. Overall, I would say that it's slightly better than average for a higher-end mascara. — 3 years, 6 months ago

    Horrible

The mascara might be very good but I'll never know. The brush is so horrible its laughable. Its too big and with no tapered end nearly impossible to apply to the lower lashes. For me this was an epic fail. If I were Smashbox I'd go back to the drawing board and try again. — 3 years, 9 months ago
