ELF, I Love This Multi-Tasker!
Multi-tasking products make me happy. Saving money makes me happy. ELF Cosmetics makes both possible with their amazing, completely affordable items. I am in love with their "Studio Eye Primer and Liner/Sealer." With it, my eye shadows stay in place and I can create any color of liner I want. When I originally bought this palette (I wasn't afraid of spending $3.00, no matter what the results), it came with a coral-toned blush and bronzer (aptly named "St. Lucia"). I was most happily surprised with the duo. It worked well for me, despite the fact that I normally don't wear powder blush, so I went on to purchase it in "Antigua," a fun, flirty, true blue-based pink blush great for this time of the year. The blush and bronzer have a lovely, imperceptible sheen to them. The bronzers are dark for my fair skin but have a faint, enticing gold undertone. I recommending starting with less. Build coverage as needed, especially with the bronzer, as it is highly pigmented (the blush is less pigmented). Swirl a brush in it, tap off all excess, and apply with a light hand. I love the ability to contour as well as giving a "sun-kissed" look to my skin. Thank you again, ELF! — 4 weeks, 1 day agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

ELF
I just discovered this ELF brand over the weekend at Target and I am super excited to have found out about it. I was amazed by the variety of products that were available at this price point. I only paid 3 teeny tiny dollars for a bronzer contouring set, and although I will admit that I was skeptical at first, but the time that I got back home to try it out, I was immediately impressed. I was amazed by the variety of products that were available at this price point. I only paid 3 teeny tiny dollars for a bronzer contouring set, and although I will admit that I was skeptical at first, but the time that I got back home to try it out, I was immediately impressed. The compact is very nice and sturdy looking and came in a lovely sleek black color. The shades that were in the compact were in a nice palette of bronzes and soft browns, and I could just tell that they would blend well. I applied it to my face and tried to do contouring with an angled brush with relatively stiff bristles. I liked that the product did not crumble when I applied the brush to it, and deposited good amount of powder onto the brush. When I stroked the brush onto my face, I found that the color went out nice and very evenly, and did not streak at all as it went on. I liked how the colors of the bronzer warmed up my complexion, which is medium in tone, and has gold undertones. I thought that the color selection in the compact harmonized very well together, and I thought it was fun to experiment with them as I tried to create different looks with the different colors. The bronzer had just the slightest amount of sparkle in it, to give just a little bit of shimmer and sheen, but not that it was too much to wear during the day time. Overall, I thought this was an absolutely brilliant product. I simply cannot believe that I was able to get this level of quality at such a low price point. It was an amazing find and I plan to try out all of the different options that this great brand has to offer. I would highly recommend this brand to anyone who is looking for a great makeup at a very affordable price point, so that you don’t have to be afraid to sample and experiment with the different products. Even if I did not find this product to be to my liking, I would still be very happy to have tried it, as it was fun to try a new product but not waste a lot of money. I will definitely be checking out the other options from this brand. — 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

E.L.F. STUDIO CONTOURING BLUSH & BRONZING POWDER
I was looking for a blush/bronzer combo to carry less items in my bag, and there really are not many options out there other than the NARS duos. They are expensive, so I opted to try this "dupe" since it is $3 at Target. I am kind of confused by the colors, because the bronzer is kind of dark and the blush hardly shows up (I'm a NC30). I cannot say if this is a good dupe for the NARS duos, but the finish didn't feel high end. I do own a couple of other NARS blushes (Sin and Albatross which is more of a highlighter), and they are much smoother than this. I would recommend this if you are broke, but be sure to use a light touch with the bronzer and pile on the blush and you should be good. For 3 dollars, you really can't get much better than this product. The bronzer is a little too opaque and dark for me, and it's difficulty to blend makes it look a little blotchy on my skin. I would recommend lightly tapping your brush on it and then blowing off the excess to ensure that you don't put a blotch of brown on your face. As for the blush, I really like the color especially with the color of the bronzer. The blush is not is opaque which is good because it looks more natural. I usually don't like shimmer in my blush's/bronzer's, but the shimmer in this really isn't that noticeable or overpowering. Overall, I've only used this product a couple times so I don't know if I would buy it again, but for the price you might as well give it a try. Great product for the price. $3, how much cheaper can you get? Quality is ok, too powdery for my liking, but again, b/c it's so cheap, that's ok. I don't wear bronzer usually, so no need to pay big bucks for a bronzer, this does the job for contouring, might be a little hard to blend, considering how powdery it is. Bronzer is very pigmented, so tap off excess before applying. Blush is also very powdery, but lovely color, with gold shimmer to it. I don't think the blush lasts a long time, though. The pink sort of wears off after half a day, the shimmer does stay on your cheeks, so for those who don't like shimmery/glittery cheeks, stay away. — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 9 of 14 people said helpful
