  works great for me

  This had been my go- to mascara for the summertime this year because it makes my lashes big and it only takes minutes to apply. I have not experienced any raccoon eyes or flaking that has been reported by other reviewers. This mascara stays on all day and is wonderful for the money. The best way to apply it is to use 2 ligh...t coats and that way there should be no problem with flaking. August 2, 2009, 7:35 am

  I got this mascara to compare to Covergirl's Lash Blast, and it does lengthen and volumnize more. But it flakes like crazy and easily clumps. According to the instructions you are supposed to apply a second coat of mascara before the first one dries but is still gets clumpy and is probably the reason why it flakes on me. It... does have a pleasant rose scent that is unusual for a product like this. Maybe if you stick with one coat it will work better. Update: I have continued to work with this mascara and now that it has dried out a little( I think that's why it would get clumpy on me) I find that it gives beautiful results now. My lashes look very full yet still separated and defined, even a bit lengthened. Best of all, my lashes feel soft, not crunchy or hard. It does still flake on me from time to time but not as much as when I first purchased it. November 5, 2009, 12:21 pm

  love what it does

  I used the waterproof Colossal mascara first, it was summer, and I liked it. The way my lashes looked after apply a couple of coats. wow! I recently bought the regular one and it does the same. Big full lashes. I recommend this. October 31, 2009, 4:55 am

  It's an OKAY product.

  The Colossal is a pretty good mascara, it gives you volume, and makes your lashes look full and plump...but! THE SMELL IS HORRIBLE! it has a strong floral scent (not the good kind of floral) and it doesn't go away. Also, if you try to put 2 or more coats get prepared for the clumps! So what I end up using is the colossal th...en at the end I pass the CoverGirl LashBlast wand throught my lashes and it takes all the clumps away. October 29, 2009, 8:15 am

  Colossal CLUMPS!

  I bought this and was so disppointed with the clumps. Thought maybe I got a bad tube so bought another. Same yucky, clumpy mess! This stuff is horrible. Can't even use it. What a waste of money. October 23, 2009, 11:12 am

  I loved it!

  I'm constantly looking for a mascara that lengthens and looks natural. This one fits the bill! I tried it because I had a coupon and am now hooked. I did not experience the flaking that other reviewers complained about...I got thick long lashes that looked great! No clumping easy to apply. Use the blackest black you can get....   nothing great

  It made my lashes clumpy, and after it was on for a while it flaked, it did make my lashes long. I thought it was going to be great but it was HORIBLE. September 6, 2009, 9:08 am

  longer lashes

  i have been using this mascara for a few months..my lashes look very long all thou it does clump a bit..i have been in pursuit for the perfect mascara..it does make them longer but not thicker looking..i have 2 which i bought on sale..if looking for longer lashes this does work but it does not thicken them August 26, 2009, 12:28 pm

  i really love this mascara. it gives my lashes crazy length and volume. it does clump a little (which is why i only gave it a 9) but i found the fix for that is to comb through the eyelashes right after you do a coat-no clumps that way. August 18, 2009, 2:21 pm
