Sebastian Whipped Creme Reviews

Fun but not functional.
PROS: It does look like whipped cream! CONS: It smells like Play-Doh. Seriously. I can't get over the smell, and it doesn't fade that much--I keep getting a whiff of it throughout the day! It's a nice but not fantastic product. And I think it may have been causing some little breakouts on my face. Even though my hair is a bit wavy, this doesn't maintain or enhance my waves at all--it actually seems to flatten them! I don't think I'd repurchase. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

fantastic curls
I absolutely love this product. 1. it has the consistency of a mousse, yet creamier 2. it looks and dispenses like whipped cream -- literally! 3. holds the look of hair WITHOUT a crunchy or hard texture 4. gives soft curls that last 5. it smells awesome! This product is great quality, totally lives up to every single claim on the bottle, lasts through the day, and even though is made by a more pricey company, it totally worth the money. Anyone with curly hair will love this product. I usually stay away from mousses because they make my curls crunchy, and therefore, unnatural looking. But this product is much better than a mousse and will surely give you bouncy and soft curls. LOVE IT and would totally recommend to a friend. — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Light and creamy
I liked this whipped creme a lot more than I thought I would. I usually wash stuff like this out of my hair if I'm just testing it but I left this one in. It's light and makes my hair soft but still has a manageable hold. good stuff! — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Innovative product
My hair is not curly, but tends to be frizzy. First I was afraid to use it because I have never seen anything like this before. This whipped creme smells nice, and as expected it has light texture. When I applied it, I immediately noticed that it helped my hair very manageable. Unlike some styling mousse products, this one does not leave obvious signs that I use it. My hair looks softer and shiner, and my hair tips seem to be extra bouncy. I recommend this creme not only for curly/wavy hair but also for dry/frizzy hair. — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Very Fun!
I have never used a top-o-the-line hair product before, and after using the Whipped Crème by Professional Sebastian, I might if the price is right. The texture of the product was foamy, like other mousse products out there, and it came out of the container very much like whipped cream. It had no real smell to speak of and scrunched to a soft curl/wave without any "crunchiness." I liked the shiny, moisturized result of my soft curls. Very cool. Very very cool. I just think there might be some (not all—but some) drugstore brands that are just as good though, and cheaper. Maybe. But since I don't shop at salons or for mousse, I'll never know. Overall, a very fun product for the style gurus. — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Worth a try-especially for waves and curls
This product is worth trying, especially if you have dull, dry, curly, or wavy hair. The whipped creme container is really fun and works like you would expect. This is a rich conditioner. It smells awesome and left my hair very, very soft and shiny. I kept touching my hair all day. It also eliminates frizz very well. I have straight, shoulder length, baby fine hair, so this product is really not for my hair type or style in my opinion. It did not weigh down my hair like I thought is would or make it stringy or greasy looking which in itself is a huge feat for this type of product. My curling iron could not hold a wave at all after using this, nor could I tease the top. I would however use this after leaving the beach with no time or electricity to fix my hair. My hair did not air dry witchy or with the frizzies as usual and looke polished but a little limp. It was a bit too heavy for me and weighed my hair down a bit at the top, but I still had a little volume on the sides. I am going to keep experimenting with this and update my review if need be. I think it would be a "10" with curly, wavy, or unruly hair (baby fine or coarse), especially dry hair. — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Softer and Curlier Hair
I really love this product because of the definition it adds to my hair. The product is so easy to use and goes on like a soft and airy mousse. The formula doesn't feel greasy or crunch my hair. It added a nice soft texture, and defined curls so that I had a great look. — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Looks yummy but...
This product is an overpriced mousse. I used this and it weighed my hair down. My hair went from having some volume to having none. I would rather use a more cost effective mousse. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 7 people said helpful

Awesome product!!!
I normally wear my hair straight because my wavy hair is uncontrollable. When I tried this out, it made my hair look so nice, that it was amazing! It smells so good too. The consistency resembles whipped cream and it looked good enough to eat, LOL. — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 5 people said helpful

very creamy but no hold
This comes out as shiny fluffy creme, not foamy nor airy. It's very conditioning, but gave absolutely no hold to my hair. It didn't define my layers, and it had no residue on my hair nor my hands. — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
