Crispy hair, hard to control heat
PaisleyLys (31 reviews)WOW. This is a hand-me-down from my mom and I can't believe someone recommended this to her. supposedly when this first came out it was the best on the market but I don't see how! Metal plates and heat settings that always seem to get much hotter than what I set it for. YIKES! Sure it straightens my hair but afterwards my hair is full of static and flyaways and all the moisture and shine has been sucked out. Ceramic is the way to go to preserve shine without too much heat damage. I will never buy another Hot Tools or metal heat appliance again. — 2 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

save your money
Pixiegirl11 (13 reviews)I bought this online at folica, omg, it is horrible and cheap. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! I only bought it for $15 and I was just so dissatisfied with it. It didn't even straighten my hair! I'm saving up to buy a good flatiron now. I used that hottools twice and it was just horrible. It snags your hair too! It even has a weird smell like tires burning when i turn it on. SAVE YOUR MONEY! — 2 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
