Love it!

I have been using the chi for many years. When my first one broke, i immediatly bought another. Altough it is pricey, it is worth it. It is very hot, so I deffidently recommend a good heat protector.

A little too much heat for my taste.

It will last in the Florida humidity, light rain and any other old day, but for me the intense heat is just a little too much. If you're new to flat ironing your hair and you dont have a heat tamer, damage will come easily with the chi. Overall it is a very nice well working product, you just have to know how to use it!

flat iron

i didnt think that it was worth buying but now that i have one i practicly use it everyday my hair is long and thick and this works great on it.

Bitter Sweet

I love and hate this product at the same time. i have very course thick wavy hair. this straighter has been the only one to straighten my hair in half the time than other straighteners i have used. it also leaves my hair smooth and shinny. That is why i Love this product. I hate this product becuase it does cost a pretty penny anywhere from 119 to 150. It does get really hot and i have burne...read mored myself a couple time and it is always a bad burn no matter how long i have burned myself for. it seems to only work for a couple of months before i feel that it burns out and starts to smell like something is burning. I wish this product was a little bit cheaper but i would never use another type of straightener.

The best hair straightener I ever had

My daughter had her beauty license for 10 years and she wanted me to get the chi and I love it soooooooooo much she also straightens my hair 1 a year but before she straighten it i still love it but having it was a great investment

The best of the best

If you have never tried a CHI, you have no idea what you are missing. I used to use a cheap model flat iron. My sister the cosmetologist suggest I try a CHI, after I complained about my hair turning colors, looking drab....sure it was straight but that is about all it was. The CHI heats up fast, one swipe and the hair is straight. BUT THE BEST PART IS HOW SILKY YOUR HAIR IS AFTERWARD. I love this iron and will never ever ever go back to anything cheap again.

I love my Chi flat iron!

I own a Chi flat iron and I use it everyday. I used to have a cheaper flat iron but this one is way better. I have long, thick hair and it doesn't take as long to straighten it with my Chi so that saves me time. I also achieve the sleek long I love with this awesome beauty tool. For anyone, especially anyone who has long or thick hair and is a perfectionist about their look like I am, I would defi...read morenitely recommend this product. Yes, it is a bit expensive but if you use it everyday and it works really well, I'd say it's worth it.

Used it for a year.

Used it for a year and my hair was really damaged. Even though I used heat protectant. There's a lot of hype about Chi's because of the price and tourmaline but they're no different than any other straightener really.
