If you really want the "plum" to stand out put on your BLACK BADgal mascara before this one for some extra intense color. My brown eyes really pop when I do this combination. I love the plum just as much as my black BADgal! It has an amazing wand that has super dense, long bristles to catch every lash. It curls & lengthens wonderfully without any clumps. Substitute brown mascara for purple

Wear BADgal plum as you would a brown mascara. Your eyelashes won't look '80s-purple (I promise). Plum looks softer than black, but livelier than brown. I have blue eyes and fair skin, and while it didn't play up my eye color, it looked very pretty without being too flashy for the office. As a plumping mascara-- it's awesome. But the whole lure of the plum was to bring out the green in my peepers! It did nothing of the sort because this mascara applies pretty dark. Pretty colour, poor performance

I really tried to make this mascara work with my eyes, since it is extremely pricey, but there's just no way around the fact that the spool is way to big for my eyes. I always end up making a mess and have to re-done some of my eye make up. Maybe if you have medium to large eyes, it can work for you. About the product itself, I'm not that impressed. It doesn't do much for my lashes that other mascaras (more inexepnsive) do. When I applied this in the store I thought it made my green eyes pop, and maybe I just got a lemon when I bought it but I didn't get the nice plum color at home and the brush seemed to make my lashes clump together. I love mascara and I love Benefit but, this mascara did not deliver. I felt the purple wasn't intense enough so it looked like regular brown mascara, I also felt like the brush didn't deposit enough product. I love blue and purple mascaras but, this one failed me. This was my first ever Benefit purchase and I'm hooked. I have red hair and very fair skin and was frustrated by the lack of choices for redheads when it comes to mascara but this solves the problem. It makes my lashes standout without that harshness that comes with brown/black mascaras. This is the best mascara EVER. I love the color, its a dark plum. The brush is perfect for lengthening my lashes, it almost looks like I am wearing fake eye lashes. this mascara has a great wand that does not clump but goes on smooth and makes your lashes sooo long. A coworker asked if I had false eyelashes on when I wore this for the first time. It does go on dark so you do not notice the plum color.
