It has a very unique texture and gives hair a lot of slip, and increases smoothness in even the coarsest hair . I stopped using shine and smoothing serums because they were nothing but silicone and ended up weighing down my hair (fine but wavy...and frizzy!) A little pricey but you use so little of it. I don't use it daily, just when I am getting dressed up and want my hair to shine. I put it on before I dry my hair and it helps keep it smooth without too many fly aways. Can be a little heavy so don't over use or you will look greasy. I have thick hair and about a nickels worth gets the job done. I just put a little in the ends of my damp hair before blowdrying. It detangles, shines, and leaves a nice mild fragrance. Most of us usually cringe at the thought of putting any oil in our hair, it’s just the word “oil†that mentally blocks us from even giving things a chance when it comes to our hair and skin sometimes. I have fine hair and oil doesn’t normally do too well with that. But… Moroccan Oilon the other hand isn’t just some greasy hair oil. I promise. I totally get it now. Moroccan Oil is Holy Grail worthy in the haircare department and I see why. This is an Argan Oil treatment/styling aid and puts a few of my other hair products on notice to step up their game. It quickly absorbs into the hair and doesn’t hang out and make my hair lifeless and weighed down. It’s a perfect weapon against the battles I wage with my flat iron. While it is a little on the pricier side, it’s not any more than what most other salon/prestige brands are. I started using this product about a year ago. I was a slave to my blowdryer and straightener for years. After about six months of consistently using Moroccan Oil, I started to notice my hair looked kinda messy-wavy-pretty without doing anything to it! I’ve continued to see the overall health of my hair improve. Here’s some tips my stylists gave me... - For more tousled (less wavy) look - Mix a couple drops of MO with a dab of serum. When hair is almost dry, part hair down the back into 2 sections. Apply the mix to one section at a time, focusing on the ends. TWIST each section back into a bun and pin. Once your hair is completely dry (30 min or so) let hair down and gently tease under scalp to let tousles fall naturally. - For humid climates - Spray a little hairspray onto palm, add the serum/MO mix and twist into sections. — 4 hours, 41 minutes agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
