    Only Thing I Use!

I have fine, limp, ‘straight as a ruler’ hair, which I perm and layer to give it volume. Even then, my hair is still limp. At nearly age 60, I have probably lost a quarter or more of my hair, which only magnifies its listlessness. Several years ago and desperate to find some kind of leave-in product to counter this problem, I discovered TRESemme Flawless Curls Curl Definition Jelly. WOW! ...read moreAll I can say is it added so much volume to my hair that it feels full and lush throughout the week. You shouldn't use too much, though; otherwise you will get a white chalky glaze on your hair. After applying a leave-in smoothing milk product, I use about a small grape size portion of TRESemme Flawless Curls Curl Definition Jelly (use less if you have shorter hair!). I then I rub this between my hands before fluffing it into my hair with upward strokes, beginning at the back. I work the last bit into my crown and bang area, and then run my hands over my hair from the hairline above my forehead, grabbing my hair up (as if making a ponytail) all the way to the ends. I make sure to get the underside, too! Using a wide-toothed comb (a five prong hair pick, to be exact), I detangle my hair, and then use my diffuser to enhance my curls. I sometimes blow-dry the top if the perm has grown out too much. Nevertheless, not once in-between shampooings (I shampoo once a week, btw) does my hair go limp! Unfortunately, TreSemme has taken this product off the market (due to clients’ complaining about the white chalky glaze issue), so I’ve had to go through an online store in order to refill my supply. Again, I believe that if you put too much in, you’re going to have problems, but if you are stingy with the application, you will have full, luxurious hair!

    AWFUL

What a disappointment! Does absolutely nothing but leave you with white gelly flecks all over your hair. No defined curls, just a big MISTAKE!!

    what she said, its bad!

i had basicallythe same experience as the girl before me. when i first put the product in and my hair was still wet, it looked decent..but just 10 or 15minutes later it was already getting tangled and nasty. when i tried to get through the whole day, i ended up with a huge mat in my hair. if you want tresemme, try the bouncy curls gel stuff in the clear bottle, it was tons better

    gross

i bought this because i'm a hair product junkie, and i have thick wavy/curly hair. it was a great price, but i'm seriously disappointed. the "jelly" itself is a weird texture-a slightly porous, not really gel, not really creme type of consistency. i used a quarter sized dollop for my shoulder length hair (the directions say "use a decent amount") and rubbed it through-its white...read more, so any areas that weren't thoroughly worked in were EXTREMELY noticeable (that gross glue look) after drying, my hair seriously felt as though i put wax or glue or honey in it or something. i could literally pull it up and it would stay wherever i pulled it. forget about running your fingers through your hair-i was afraid i'd be ripping it out at the root!! this product left my hair not only dry feeling, but heavy, waxy, dirty and just plain gross. i've never experieneced something like this but ladies-stay FAR away. i only gave it one star because it held all day-something i'm not that surprised by considered my hair felt as though it was MOLDED to my head!!
