Love this mascara

This mascara is fabulous! I use it over Supernova for the best looking lashes ever. It doesn't work quite as well on its own, but used after a coat of Supernova, I had beautiful lush lashes with no clumps or smudging or eyelashes sticking together like other mascaras. It also lasted all day through the humid heat without giving me raccoon eyes.

Jury is still out...

I am used to a very heavy mascara, and this gave me feather soft lightweight lashes - perfect for my "i look like I have no makeup on" days. I was able to layer it very lightly, but I'm not sure if it's mascara enough to impress me; I'm not sure I spent my money wisely on this one. For as natural of a look this leaves, I might as well have bought maybelline or cover girl or something like that.

Does not deliver as promised.

This seemed at first reading to be a great mascara, promising "feathery" lashes. These lashes were anything but feathery. The point of mascara, I have always thought, is to enlarge and define lashes, whether by thickening, lengthening, or, at best, both. This delivers nothing. If it is possible to have short, clumpy (but not full) lashes come into vogue, then this is the mascara to get. Until then, this isn't really the best idea.

Love this mascara, really hope Fresh brings back the full sized tubes. Gives me great length and separation. Its like one step above the natural look, your lashes look pretty but its an effortless kind of pretty. I love this mascara

LOVE this stuff so far ...

This was suggested to me for my sensitive eyes (I also wear contacts) because it has no alcohol. I bought the trial version that has this and Supernova in little 2" bottles that were hard to work with but once I got use to it I love the way they make my eyelashes look! I have long, thin, light colored eyelashes and both these mascaras make it look like I have false eyelashes on! The supernova...read more is thicker than firebird. I found that you have to spend little more time putting it on than others (maybe just because it's the trial version) but it lasts all day without flaking or smudging or making my eyes red and watery. So itâ€™s worth it to me in the long run. I will definitely be buying the regular size.

You're paying for the pretty packaging

I like how this mascara separates your lashes and leaves no clumps but boy is it expensive. If you have sparse or short lashes, this probably won't work as well for you. As far as giving me longer or thicker lashes, it really didn't perform until I added a second and third coat.

Depends what you are looking for

This mascara is not heavy and it does not make your eyes look like the mascara is caked on. If you want a light look, then this mascara is great.

Not so feathery...

I've tried Supernova and LOVED it, so naturally I was excited to try Firebird for a more natural look. But the formula coats the brush with too much product, and weirdly enough I felt I wasn't getting enough mascara onto my lashes-- as if I wasn't really wearing any! Needless to say, I was not a happy camper!
