This is my first flat iron and it is much nicer than I thought it would be. It heats up in less than 30 sec. it doesn't get so hot that I would get burned and it works quickly and smoothly. I only have to pass through my hair once and it is straight and not frizzy. Awhile back, I was interested in purchasing my first flat iron, but I had no idea what to get. So I turned to TotalBeauty.com for some suggestions. I compared this one against a couple of other high end flat irons (like the CHI) and I decided to go with the Sedu and let me tell you...it did not disappoint! You can adjust the temperature, it is lightweight, and it left my hair shiny and frizz-free! Super hot!
I got one of these babies as a gift and I am SO HAPPY with it. I always bought the cheapo store brand, and they never got hot enough to straighten my super frizzy hair. This iron gets really, really hot. Maybe even too hot - so be careful! I have to dial it back to keep from damaging my hair, but I love that I can adjust it and it really responds.
