this product is a easily rinsed out pomade, which means its probably more like a cross between a pomade, serum, and gel rather than a typical thicker pomade. i love it, and i think its definitely worth the money. the consistency is much like a gel-serum, but this is not a redundant product. i use it along with a gel and a serum, and the difference between the results of the products is palpable. it gives a terrific finishing, non-greasy shine.08/19/2008
