Great gel for controlling frizz!

You DON'T have to have curly hair to love this stuff!
This product is SO amazing. My hair isn't super curly (just a lil wave to it) but I love using this gel for frizz control. It's very silky and a little goes a long way. It doesn't leave hair crispy (yay!) or greasy. It really helps to smooth down the "poof" in my hair to make it silky and smooth looking. If the price were a little lower I would have given it a 10! LOVE this gel. I live in Florida where the climate is hot and humid. I have naturally wavy/curly hair that wants to try to be consistently frizzy. Not for my hair
The product claims to defriz curls without leaving them crunchy. I followed their “rake and shake” instructions where you start at the nape of your neck and apply a small amount of product by raking your hands through your hair then shaking it to get the curl reset. This is done in chunks until you’ve gotten all your hair. I was at first super impressed – wow, it really did a nice job of enhancing my natural curls. Until it dried. I’m not sure where they got the “no crunch” from but my hair felt like straw once it was dry. The next day I brushed it out and it got better – but it still wasn’t great. My overall impression is that I will not be purchasing this ever. Wonderful Gel
I honestly don't know what I would do without Ouidad! My hair is coarse and wavy, my daughters hair is fine and kinky, we both use this gel and it works miracles! Thank God for Ouidad!!!
I had been so frustrated with my thick, naturally curly hair my whole life, with people constantly telling me to enjoy it, 'cause people pay a lot of money to get their hair curly like mine! When I FINALLY found Ouidad, I finally started to not only embrace my curls, but I LOVE them so much, too!! I've turned down blowouts to rock my curls, and this gel in particular helps to keep my curls under control, yet not sticky or crunchy, for the WHOLE ENTIRE DAY!!!! I can't even tell you how worth it this gel is!!! It really works & stops the frizz!
I recently started using the Ouidad products, including Climate Control, and I like it a lot and use it daily. I ue it together with Botanical Boost, and it does stop the frizz dead in it's tracks! (I also finally went and had a cut (and color) at a Ouidad certified Salon (with Ana at Tivon Salon in Blacksburg VA). Not cheap, but very good, and she taught me how and when to use each products for my specific hair and styling issues). This is the first time I've ever done anything specifically to enhance my wavy/curly, fine (& often frizzy) hair and so far I like it a lot. I'm not totally "there" yet, still experimenting with a number of their products and ways to style my hair (and using the diffuser makes a BIG difference for me), but I really like the Ouidad products so far, and they seem to be working for me. Although you often use a Lot of product, my hair is never stiff from them, always soft and bouncy and shiny, and the styling techniques the stylist taught me are "doable" at home & easy- and I'm a big fan of "low maintenance" hair styling! — 1 year, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful
