Stays on all day
It doesn't get greasy! I travel to the most humid parts of the world and this foundation never transfers on to my clothes. It stays in place! Great Product
Bought this for $37.50 @BonTon and it was worth every penny. A little goes a long way and it has great coverage. Even when I don't have time to wash my face before a workout it won't make me break out afterwards. Also agree with another reviewer who said to moisturize beforehand- definitely do that At least moisturize your dry spots. Almost too good to be true!
Incredible! My sensitive, combination skin was completely comfortable in this medium/buildable coverage foundation. It literally lasted ALL DAY (10 am -10pm!), and helped hold on to my blush and eyeshadow as well. It takes a little blending ,so I recommend a foundation brush. i have dry skin, with loads of acne and acne scars. this covered magically, my scars were invisible, and my acne loads less noticable. it truly lasts all day, even if you touch your face all day and rub it on stuff(accidentally!) however you might have to put a good moisturizer before you put this on, it keeps oils at bay so if you put it on with already dry skin, you wont like the feeling on your skin. — 2 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 8 people said helpful

Beyond Excellent!
The one thing that I can say about this foundation is BRAVO! BRAVO! BRAVO! This foundation has been the most natural, the most wearable, and the longest wearing foundation that I have ever owned. More importantly, I have worn this foundation in the sun and heat of the summer and it continued to perform as advertised, while keeping my oily skin from being shiny. great foundation
After straying from this product and trying many other top end foundations I have had to return to the good old Estee Lauder double wear light ( double wear in a bottle is too cakey looking for my liking). For someone like me who gets a really oily t zone during the day and sometimes bad breakouts, it is a god send to use double wear because it keeps my skin matte usually without applying powder through out the day, it stays in place unlike cheaper foundations which on my skin have a tendancy to slide down my face, not very attractive look at all. Importantly it covers the acne which i get on my chin, you really do not need a concealer with this foundation because it covers blemishes beautifully. A slight downside is that is can be a little to dry (yes even though i want matt skin) on application so i found i had to use a slight bit of moisuriser on my face before application which also helped it glide on. At the Estee Lauder counter I loved the colour chart of the different shades and time that the consultant took to find the perfect shade for me, one thing I did find is that it is a little too light in colour for my liking but thats nothing that a bit of bronzer or mac blusher cannot fix! I really do not think any other foundation can beat Double Wear Light when it comes to durability, I work as a waitress and even after 10 hours of rushing around it was still in place even on a hot day! I've tried superbalance by Clinique it feels like im painting my face, too overdone look and even after trying 2 different colours they were just to pinky for my liking. Another foundation i tried recently was Lancomes TEINT IDOLE ULTRA which claimed a 14 hour no touch up needed after use which was not true. My skin was left oily and the colour was just too orange and the coverage over spots was not good enough. If you have oily skin and blemishes like me and want a good foundation to get you through a long day or a fab night out clubbing without the need to touch up from having a greasy face then definitely give Double Wear Light a go!
