Lovin' it!

I am not a fan of foundation at all, just never wear it. One day at the Smashbox counter in Macy's, the makeup artist suggest I try tinted moisturizer instead. I didn't know anything about it, but when she put it on my face, I was sold. I got a smooth, clear, soft finish & my skin looked nice & even. One-Step Saturday

If you have a pretty even skin tone and you don't like foundation this is your product. I have mild acne and I wear this over foundation in the areas the sun would hit your face. It has a SPF built-in, however it it oil-free. It adds a pretty glow, but mild enough to wear alone all over the face.

worked for me!

I have your average skin - it can get dry during the winter, I can have a pimple every now and then. Not too sensitive, not too acne prone, not too dry - just settled right there in the middle. This tinted moisturizer is perfect! I hate the feeling of heavy foundation and am trying to move towards a more natural look for my face, and this stuff does the job! This was recommended to me by a Sephora employee - when she tried it out on me, she layered it on THICK and my face was greasy within an hour. Be careful with this product if you have a heavy hand! A thin layer is really all you need.

Smashbox Sheer Focus Tinted Moisturizer

I purchased this online and put it under my eyes and on my chin late yesterday afternoon. It's shiny and after wearing it for about 3 hours I noticed redness under my eyes. When I washed it off I found that the pores under my eyes were raised and I had the beginnings of a rash. Today I woke up with milia and a red rash under both eyes plus some clogged pores on my chin. If you have sensitive skin and are prone to acne, dermatitis, or milia I would suggest you pass on this one.
