a marketing gimmick

Used a year ago...don't remember the results
I had tried the Neutrogena Wave about a year ago after seeing the commercials and having a recommendation from my friend. I convinced my mom to go out and buy it for me a few days later. I was so excited to try it, and used it as soon as we got home from Target. I raved to my mom about how healthy my skin looked and how soft it was. The Wave promised soft skin, and it delivered. Now, I was at...read more the point where I was just starting to get acne and it was like one teeny little pimple that didn't matter at ALL, but of course I was obsessing about them. I don't know if the Wave actually cleansed my skin at all because I vaguely remember using this product. I used it every day and eventually ran out of the pads that it came with. I never got around to buying the refills and lost interest. I remember that ants had gotten into my house and had attacked my Wave and grapefruit scrub (also from Neutrogena). For the past year the Wave has sat in my drawer. I don't remember any amazing results (apart from the soft skin) and I haven't used the Wave since then. It was a waste of MY (mom's) $14 since I never used it again, but you may find different results. Nice...
It doesn't foam as much as it does in the commercials, but that's to be expected. It makes my skin feel clean, soft, and smooth, and it looks glowing afterward too. It doesn't help acne, but it definitely cleans my skin up. I got this product after seeing the commercial for it on TV, and I was pretty pleased with it. The tingling foam has a very refreshing feel and my skin felt so smooth and soft after rinsing! Trying to get the foam on my face did require some scraping of the pad w/ the back of my nail. Once it got wet, there's a LOT of foam to work with. I did feel like I also had to massage the foam on my skin a...read morelong w/ the Wave, since I'd get little red bumps where the Wave missed spots. Useless...

love the new expoliating pads!
i've had this product for a while and it worked great. then they came out with the expoliating pads and i love it even more! my face feels clean and smooth every time i use it! i haven't had a problem w/ water getting into the battery compartment. and i use it in the shower mostly.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

hey well i think its amazing

In Love!
This little gem is wonderful at cleaning and saving me loads of time. I don't have to collect a face cloth, cleanser & towel just to clean my face which is enough to hook me! I've had mine since it came on the market and have had no problems what so ever. I even run it under running water and just like the old Timex watch commercial said...take's a liking and keep's on ticking. I'm not ashamed...read more to say I'm sixty five and haven't alway's taken the best care of my skin, especially when it come's to a wash up at bedtime when I'm exhausted. No longer now that I have my Wave. It's just so hassle free, simple and effective I use it without fail. I don't have any problem with it over cleaning or drying my aging skin either. I find it has ample cleansing product to do a thorough cleansing and make sure not to over wet the pad thereby rinsing the cleanser down the drain. I bought a lot of the illuminating microderm cleansing pads on clearance and I use them on the wave also. Along with the microdermabrasion cream this has my skin looking better than it did when I was younger(with a few added wrinkles) . Love it!
I am super lazy when it comes to washing my face because when it comes time for bed I am usually mega tired. This has helped me wash my face more and it leaves my skin super clean!
