Shadow Perfection--I Used Them for My Wedding!
With all of the makeup I own and all that I have tried, it was a hard decision of what brand of eye makeup I would wear for my wedding years ago. Should I have a professional makeup artist do my makeup? Should I do it myself? I ultimately chose Mary Kay® "Mineral Eye Color," and I'd do it again. The color range is incredible--MK carries everything from a pure luxe gold ("Gold Coast") to "Sterling" (gently shimmering grey) to gleaming "Crystalline" (ecru with sheen) and bold, beautiful "Midnight Star" (deep blue). As I recall, I used "Crystalline" and mixed blues and amethysts. My hazel/green eyes were greatly enhanced. My husband and I stayed for the entire reception after a wondrous, long wedding mass because we had so much fun--and these shadows withstood fourteen hours of tears of joy, heat, perspiration, photos, kisses and hugs, dancing, and lots of conversation and hardly needed a touch-up. Mary Kay® formulates them with Vitamins A, C, and E. They have oil-absorbing and crease-proof properties (and I did put them to the true test!). The camera lens loved them, and I'm not particularly photogenic. I love the fact that you can create your own customized palette and change it at will. Should I ever decide to renew my vows, I will use these again--that's how special they are! — 2 hours, 46 minutes agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

almost perfect
the shadow is one of the best ive used. the color is amazing, it blends great and feels weightless. it stays on pretty long too. the only draw back, is it is SO EXPENSIVE. the little pans are SO TINY. much smaller across than a penny. and not deep either. for the money i wanted a little more product. you also need to buy a seperate compact to put them in. which wold be ok, if they were a little bigger and less costly. comes with a tiny, actual brush in addition to the typical sponge tip thing. — 3 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful
