just ok
I thought this scent was just ok, it's a little too floral for me. I prefer the original. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Thierry Mugler Violet Angel
This is a lovely melange of sugared violets, caramel, and white flowers. It is sweet and floral, and it is lovely. It fades nicely without going off, and the top notes are sweet, but not overly so. I normally don't like sweet scents, but the blend of fragrance are so well done, this is one of my favorites. It comes in a lovely bottle that is refillable, and I don't have to use more than two spritzes to get the effect I like. It wears well, and I receive compliments every time I wear it. I love Thierry Mugler's family of fragrances, and this is probably my most favorite of them all. — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

fair
I got a sample of this from a magazine and I have to say I find it a lot less appealing that the original. It also did not last at all - I applied it and the scent disappeared almost immediately. I guess it is possible that the application of the scent to the paper was inadequate but I have never had that happen before and I have tested hundreds of perfumes that way. I also reviewed the Alien scent which did like even though, it too, was quite different from the original. I had mentioned that usually brands tend to have similarities in their fragrances if the are in the same product line but i did not find that here. Between the lack of longevity and the lack of appeal of the scent itself I would definitely not purchase this product. Not to mention that the cost is prohibitively expensive. — 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
