Napoleon Perdis Foundation Stick Reviews

I love this!
This is one of my favorite foundations. First of all, it covers amazingly. You can choose how much coverage you want by layering it. It says it can double as a concealer and that definitely isn't a lie. Unless I've got a really obvious problem-area on my face, I can now usually skip concealer altogether! The consistency of this product is kind of like a stick of concealer. You're better off applying it with a foundation brush, as it makes the finish more natural. You really don't need much to cover your entire face, and since it's a solid stick, it lasts FOREVER! Some people seem to be complaining about how it's oily, but as long as you set it with powder, you'll be completely fine. I have somewhat oily skin, and even though this foundation claims to not have to be set, it looks nicer if I do put powder on afterwards. Another plus to this foundation is its staying power. It lasts through EVERYTHING! And wearing a primer only makes it last longer! It's waterproof, so you can even sweat and get your face wet and it'll still be there. I was amazed when the lady at Ulta put some on her hand, ran it under water, and the water just beaded up and came off without making the foundation look ANY different. Try it yourself. I also love how it doesn't clog my pores, despite it having a really thick creamy texture. It's a bit pricey at $40, but it's really completely worth it! — 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Crazy great!!
You can pick how little or how much coverage you have... I usually slide it on like war paint then take my foundation brush and blend blend blend. Now, I also use Sephora foundation compact over this and HD powder to make it stay on longer — 1 month, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Not worth the money
I have oily and acne prone skin. This didn't give me acne but my face look like it was melting after an hour definitely not a matte finish. It made my skin look so greasy and didn't stay on all day. I really wanted to like it I even tried using a primer before applying my foundation but didn't even work. IfI'm going to be paying $40 foundation it should work — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

Awesome Stuff!
I couldn't, and still can't, believe how perfectly this stick covers imperfections. I initially bought it to cover up several facial miles, but ended up using it as full foundation. It makes my skin look completely flawless! The only thing I don't like is that it contains oil. Even with my dry skin, I end up blotting shine away periodically. But that's a small price to pay when you see how gorgeous this stick makes your skin look! Looks natural, great staying power. Pretty pricey at $40, but worth it! — 1 year, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

The FULL Coverage that I so desperately needed!
During the winter, I struggle with finding a full coverage foundation that doesn't look too thick and overdone. This is the perfect foundation to achieve a flawless, natural finish. What a great investment... the stick lasts forever and I don't have to worry about packing it with my liquids when I travel... — 3 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

My HG foundation
It provides full, invisible coverage, it has SPF, it matches my tanned skin perfectly, AND it mattifies my oily skin! I love this. It is waterproof so it'll take some cleansing and swiping with a cotton ball to get everything off... but the point is - it stays on until you want it off, and makes you look perfect! — 4 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 5 people said helpful

EXCELLENT COVERAGE!
I was pleasantly surprised at how well this foundation stick covers problematic skin. I haven't actually used it on myself, but I'm a makeup artist and the salon I work at carries Napoleon Perdis products and a few days ago I had a customer come in and wanted her makeup done for the prom that night. She had a severe case of acne and said she really wants it to be covered for tonight. I used the foundation stick on her (I hadn't used it before) and we were both amazed at how well it concealed her blemishes. Her skin looked amazing! — 5 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 11 of 11 people said helpful
