I do not care for Luster's Pink Smooth Touch at all. I do not have course hair at all, just extremely curly and thick, and I wanted my curls to be more wavy than spiraly and easier to straighten. Pink didn't do much for my hair. I used it for a year and then switched to Dark & Lovely, and there is a HUGE difference. The hair that has been treated with Dark & Lovely is silkier, bouncy, smooth, and healthy looking. I have soft & frizzy hair. I always had problems with perms in the past. Luster's Pink Smooth Touch has, by far, been the best perm that I ever had. There's no breakage and I'm able to apply the perm every 8 weeks like normal and not worry about my hair falling out.
