This spray is wonderful! It is light, nongreasy, and leaves the hair shiny and nice smelling. The scent is not overbearing. And it keeps my curls soft! It doesn't weigh them down at all. I love it! — 3 years, 6 months ago

Really light mist,

I have super fine, thin hair and most shine serums and sprays just make my hair look greasy, this is a winner for us fine locked ladies. ilike to spray this in my hands and apply it to my hair rather than spray it directly on. This way i can control where the product goes better. I spray a few pumps into my hands, rub hands together, and apply mostly to my roots, then run my hands over the the length of my hair starting at the top of my head. This makes my ends look healthier, controls any annoying fly-aways and adds a light (not greasy) shine to my whole head. The bottle looks tiny but using it the way i have (by spraying into hands) it's lasted me a year and i still have plenty left. — 1 year ago

Basically all John Frieda Frizz-Ease product are good for frizzy hair. I have purchase pretty much every styleing prouduct they have made. This shine mist makes my hair shine in a good way. Just the right amount and your hair can shine without that greasy look. — 1 year, 2 months ago

I have a bit of mixed feelings about this serum. It is pretty nice, but at the same time, I can't say that it makes a huge difference on my hair. It does tame frizz a little, and probably adds a bit of shine, but I didn't see drastic difference on my hair, maybe it's more obvious on fine or damaged hair... Pro's: lightweight, non-greasy, non-sticky, affordable Con's: the smell is kind of strong- might not mix well with perfume; doesn't do much. — 4 days, 23 hours ago

Worth overlooking the smell

After using this my hair definitely looked shiny and caught the light, and it didn't leave a yucky residue feeling - so it gets all checkmarks where it counts. The smell was a bit saccharine for my nose but it wears off so not a big deal. I usually apply it to the palms of my hands so I can evenly distribute it and not waste any. This product does alot of good things and a few bad. It leaves your hair shiny and helps control frizz & flyaway's. But for me, I like natural smelling products and this doesn't smell so natural. It smells harsh and can be harsh on hair if you use to much of it. But overall I like the product. — 11 months ago

I'm a total John Frieda junkie. I absolutely love his products. I use almost everything in his collection. I start out with my most favorite, "root awakening" shampoo & conditioner. They are both made with eucalyptus to improve hair health or "breakage-prone hair". I always use a leave -in conditioner bc my hair is super dry, so i use John Frieda "Frizz Ease Daily Nourishment" , leave in spray.
