Okay so this is really just a styling aid. It doesn't do much in the way of actually cleansing hair, especially when you use it with the matching conditioner. It definitely weighs your hair down (weird for me because I've never had a shampoo weigh my hair down) which in turn makes it easier to straighten. Definitely not for everyday, cleansing use. I have tried a variety of shampoos and conditioners, but have never loved any shampoo and conditioner like I love this one. It always leaves my hair super soft, shiny, and manageable. I air dried my hair one day and blew it straight on another. On the air dry day I noticed a decrease in the frizzies, but they were still there.
