  It Does What It Says & Is Convenient Too.

  Normally, I wouldn't spend more than $3 for a bottle of nail polish since I'm into trendy colors and rarely finish a bottle, but I decided to splurge and try the new Sally Hansen Quick Color nail polish pen. It cost about $7.50. I was able to do one hand very quickly at my desk at work. I applied one coat and got a very nic...e coverage. The smell wasn't as strong as typical nail polish, and it did dry quickly without smudging. The pen was easy to handle and it only took 2-3 clicks to start the nail polish to flow. It is so convenient especially since I have two toddlers, and I rarely have the time to paint my nails. I purchased the nail pen at my local Walgreens, and the colors the carry are: clear, lt. biege, red, orange, blue, and black. I bought orange which is a more dark coral color on the nails as opposed to a bright pumpkin orange. In the package, the red was more dark, blue-based red. I only gave it 8-stars because I'm not sure how long it will last before it chips, but touch ups should be a breeze. April 2, 2008, 5:35 pm

  Usefull, Yet not enough to replace a manicure

  I bought this on my way to work on Sat, and was expecting to be deeply disappointed - Not so much the case. Straight out of the box, with five careful clicks, I was able to apply the polish to my clean nails: On the Subway Platform. I was amazed at the ease of the pen in my grip. The brush isn't as smooth as the one on the ...box and the color oozes from the end of the pen through the bristles, but there was no excess mess and no outstanding smell! It drys in minutes, but its not able to withstand a lot of wear'n'tear [I work as a florist, and it couldn't stand all the water] although at the end of the day touch ups were a breeze. The hot pink color is more neon than shown and has little to no shine, perfect for the springs incoming style. April 14, 2008, 4:11 pm

  I love this stuff! I have the light pink shade and it's really pretty. Plus, it was soooo easy to apply. It did dry very quickly (compared to regular polish), though when I applied a second coat, it took a while, but still shorter than typical polish. I'm going to keep one at work for nicks and touchups. April 24, 2008, 8:36 am

  Pros and Cons

  Pros: the application was nice and easy. The color was pretty. It dried fast. Con: the polish dries on the brush after the FIRST use and its hard to use again . September 25, 2009, 11:05 pm

  i like it

  I have all but given up on doing my own nails because I am sooo clumsy about it, always getting the polish on my fingertips...but with this pen it's not a problem. I got this in Stone, and it's such a beautiful color, a muted brown/taupe/red...fast and easy, if you're clumsy about manicures like me, I have also had it for a... very long time and it has not dried out at all. Removes the risk of the polish spilling in your makeup bag...I would like to get this in black but yes, it is kind of expensive :( September 21, 2009, 4:58 pm

  do not waste you money!

  Brush clumps-color does not go on even! might be good for a quick touch up. Used the white for french, had to re do my nails with regular polish-will NEVER buy again! April 24, 2009, 12:57 pm

  Truely color quick polish!

  I purchased the Color Quick pen in Sheer Pink #03. I was skeptical. I don't have time to treat myself to manicures and I hardly have time to do my own nails the traditional method. I bought this on a whim and while in line to pick up my kids from school decided to put it to the test. The directions are easy and getting t...he polish down into the brush is an easy couple of 'clicks' away. It goes on, smoothly and dries pretty darn quick. My nails looked so much better with this sheer polish than they had without. I applied two coats and am impressively happy with the results. PROS: Quick No mess Dries quickly Can do easily enough in your own car TIPS: Make sure that you let the first coat dry to the touch and be sure to saturate the brush before applying the second coat so you don't get brush strokes!
