Since I wasn't sure I could carry my metal eyelash curler on a plane, I opted for a plastic one. It did pretty well and its so small!!! the eyelash curler wet & wild locks and tabs are trapped in the crisper. When you try to unlock, the skin under the eye is trapped inside the plastic and causes me a bruise and bleeding just below the eye. It was very painful.
