Smells great, but hard to rinse out of hair

Both this shampoo and conditioner smell heavenly, similar to the Origins ginger line. This is a thinner conditioner, about the consistency of body lotion. I had a good deal of difficulty rinsing this out of my dry curly hair, however, and ended up with limp strands. I am now enjoying the smell by using the conditioner as a shaving cream, and it works great for that!
