  Good product for normal to dry skin types

  Love the fact this is a pressed mineral makeup product as the loose powders are so messy. This product does contain shea butter and vitamin e so those with oily skin beware. I have no problem with the product for half of the day but after that coverage in the t-zone area, (my oily areas), is greatly diminished and touch u...p is required even when using oil blotting papers. You definitely need to use Pur Mineral's special application brush. This product does not make your skin appear dry like some of the other mineral powders do. This product is worth trying out.   LOVE IT!!

  I tried bare essencuals and really didn\'t like it-the colors were always wrong too dark or too light, and the application was messy and I felt like it made my skin look dry. I love this pur minerals foundation! It is a snap to apply, lasts a long time, doesn\'t look cakey or dry and really appears natural. I live in Arizo...na, and it is so hot here that most fluid foundations just look shiney and crappy-this stuff is the real deal-try it! March 27, 2008, 6:46 pm

  Good Mineral Product

  This is my first attempt at mineral makeup - the application was very easy and I loved the results! Unfortunately after a few hours I did notice that the makeup especially in my t zone was a bit shiney and looked as if it had worn off. I do not like to apply any makeup heavily or often and felt this was a slight draw back t...o daily routine. I purchased the items as a set so the price was right and minimal packaging :) April 22, 2008, 6:35 am

  Best of the Best

  I have tried almost every mineral make up available. Just when I was beginning to think mineral was not for me, I was introduced the Pur Minerals. I have combo skin with an oily t zone by noon. I also have mild acne AND fine lines around my eyes. I use Clinique Instant Pore Perfector, brush on my minerals and run out th...e door. I am a high school teacher with a house full of my own kids, elementary age. I need to look good without a fuss. This is an absolute winner. April 16, 2008, 10:19 pm

  Very Good

  I have been a Bare Escentuals user for quite awhile and I was just fed up with the mess of the loose foundation. I was impressed with Pur because the color was true to their descriptions and the ease of applying and the time saved was incredible. It truly is a great concealer as I have spider veins, pimples and this does ...a much better job than Bare Escentuals and I don't use loose powder anymore. Great value and lasts throughout the day.   The Best Mineral Makeup/ Foundation

  I have tried every kind of mineral makeup out there, from bareminerals to sheer cover and all the others in between. And Pur Minerals 4 in 1 is the best. It stays on all day, it covers well. And unlike the other ones, if you are like me, they just didn't match my skin tone(to dark), this comes in porclain. And the price isn...'t to pricy like some. Try it, you'll love it.   I have this love-hate relationship with minerals, love what they do for my skin, hate the mess. Enter Pur, no mess, great price, great coverage and no super glittery look. This is by far the best mineral I've used, still wish it gave the super flawless look of a liquid. May 20, 2008, 11:05 pm

  I never used BE make up because it looked so messy. All the sifting would make me annoyed. I love this coverage and how it feels on my skin. It also improves my skin texture and covers up my blemishes. It has not cause my skin to break out nor has it added to my acne. April 13, 2008, 4:40 pm

  At 52 my skin is better than it's ever been!

  I have been using the 4 in 1 for about 3 years. I don't think I will ever use anything else. It contains no talc so it doesn't settle into lines. I'm 52 years old and it works amazingly well on my older skin. I would highly recommend it to anyone of any age. My 25 year old daughter tried it and she is now a regular user too.... I have exceptionally oily skin and I find it superior to liquid foundations. While it does fade over the course of the day it doesn't run off my face like a liquid. Between the 4 in 1 Foundation and the Pur Minerals Facial Souffle Cleanser I no longer have the black heads that I'd had since my teenage years! Well worth the price! And it only takes about 1 minute to apply. Big kudos to Pur Minerals for a superior product line! November 6, 2008, 6:27 pm

  Better than Bare - On Par with Raw

  It seems there's a new mineral makeup foundation on the shelves every day, but Pur Minerals was among the first to the craze along with their Bare colleagues. I’m a bit behind the times in just now reviewing my first Pur Minerals products, but I have to say, it was well worth the wait! Unlike a lot of mineral makeup foun...dations, Pur Minerals didn’t leave my face overly shiny. Because the powder is pressed, it’s also much cleaner than the loose powder forms mineral makeup often takes. The foundation gives beautiful coverage without the cakiness I expected from the pressed format. The buffing brush (called by Pur Minerals a “chisel brush“) is one of the best performing of its kind, too - the foundation didn’t rub off as I swirled it on, nor were the bristles the least bit prickly. The only negative about this line is that the color selection is a bit lacking. For this reason, I actually have two shades of the foundation and I blend as necessary. All in all, I loved the Pur Minerals foundation and can’t wait to try more of their products! September 2, 2008, 9:15 am
