I really wanted to like this perfume. I was even recommended to try this fragrance based upon my likes from a friend that happens to be quite knowledgable of perfumes. I read other reviews from this fragrance and one said that they got a sad and dreary vibe from the fragrance and I have to agree. But more importantly I thought this frangrance smelled rather strong and masculine. There's just this undeniably masculine aspect to this scent that I just don't care for. It's unfortunate because I really wanted to like this scent. I like the idea that it's supposed to simulate the 6 month growth process of the iris, but it just doesn't work for me.
