I have fine hair, but this works wonders! Tried it the first time tonight. It usually takes about 45 minutes for my hair to look full and bouncy. I have layers and shoulder length hair. I used the spray when my hair was almost fully dry. I wouldn't use it with damper hair because of the tangles. I found this at my local Big Lots for way cheaper! I gave it a 9 rather than a 10 because the scent isn't great. It doesn't stink, and it's not perfumey. I just like a fresh, clean fragrance. I would buy it again and would pay full price! I have used this hairspray for YEARS and love it as much today as the first time I used it. It offers a great hold without the sitff, sticky or dry feeling that a lot of hairsprays leave behind. It also has a pleasant smell that is not overbearing. Believe me, I have tried various other sprays when I have run out (GASP) and am waiting for my new bottle to arrive in the mail and none have compared. This spray gives a fantastic, all day hold without being super sticky or heavy. If I flip my head over and spray underneath, it really gives me super fullness. Spraying all over the top layer gives great style hold. It's strong stuff - I spray it on, then brush out my hair, but that takes a little effort so use a good brush/comb so hair doesn't damage. The only reason I gave it an "8" is because the spray nozzle clogs easily. Every other day I need to pull it off and rinse it under hot water to get the spray even.
