It was truly love at first sniff, and an immediate full-bottle purchase. Yes, it smells like roses, but in a warm, balanced way. It feels more complete, somehow, than many soliflores, an...d someone who is not usually attracted to rose base scents might like it too. I always get compliments when I wear this. an added plus - the bottle is absolutely beautiful! It's best to spritz lightly at first - like all Lancome scents, it has an impressive sillage and lasts a while. I love to put this behind my neck by my hair so that the scent lingers there. Yes, it's pricey - but well worth it.
