A nice product but a bit spendy for what they are...
PROS: Nice range of colors. I like the consistency and wear of the product (yes, they are a bit sticky, but I like sticky glosses because they last longer on my lips). I like the sqeeze tube applicator. I like that they slightly plump and moisturize my lips! CONS: Fairly sheer (both the Jelly and Smoothie varieties--Smoothies claim to offer a "medium wash of color" but it's pretty light unless you slather on a lot of gloss.) They are all scented. All of the ones I try smell really strong, and most of them are sugary candy sweet (I'd prefer something a bit more subtle). Sometimes Lancome makes ones that are a total dud, so try before you buy (UGH, I still feel sick when I think about Joyeaux, a pine scented and flavored Juicy Tube! It was like eating tree sap!!!) A bit expensive ($18 for a fairly sheer, strongly scented gloss? It seems like I could get something like that from the drugstore for less). Too Heavy
I don't care too much for gloss that is super heavy and sticky. It feels a bit too much like I'm wearing honey on my lips and it's impossible to go out on a windy day, it my hair goes into my face forget it, a sticky hot mess. It's far to heavy to wear over lipstick as well. Love these!
I have been using Juicy Tubes since they first came out. I love the range of colors that Lancome offers with these. They have various shades, some with shimmer and some that are fairly opaque. One tube will last quite a while. I also really like that these have different scents and yet they don't taste like anything. I much prefer juicy tubes to MAC lip glasses. Juicy Tubes are so fun to use. I will continue to purchase them for as long as Lancome makes them. Very thick
I have a few of these lipglosses and I love how shiny they leave my lips. They do feel a little to thick though. I have also gotten my hair stuck in my lips on a breezy day when I wear juicy tubes. I am a sucker for the holiday gift sets of these because they are so affordable and the colors are so beautiful. I usuallly wait until one is in my gift with purchase and don't buy them outright. Not my favorite lip gloss
This was my very first lip gloss-in-a tube-item. I remember that every GF I know was using or at least talking about this lip gloss. It was very sticky, did not absorb into lips, and instead just sat on top. I forgot which exact shade I got, but it was in pink-mauve color. The color was appealing in the tube, it was basically much clear on the lips. I thought about trying another color, but within a month, other companies started producing similar lip gloss. Nice Color Thick Texture
I have been wanting to try this gloss for quite some time and after trying it today I didn't see why so many people rave about it. The fishnets color was great and would probably look great on just about anyone but the color didn't match the texture which was thick and no different than what you find at the drugstore. Love it!
This is a great product! Great colors, great smelling and looks great layered over lipsticks to gove them a little extra shine i have many colors in this and i love them all!! I have tried other glosses and many have added fragrance that do not smell so good. Smells Good, But Too Sticky
i love a good shine, but not if i feel like i'm eating it all the time. This gloss is way too stick for me ...My cousins all raved to me about this and went crazy over the sets that come out during the holidays...but I just couldn't bring myself to be in love with it. I got a wide range of colors, tried them all...loved the smell and taste and then reminded myself that I'm not buying a snack, i'm buying a gloss. I didn't find it comfortable and I didn't like the way it mixed over lipsticks either. This items didn't work for me. If you don't mind the consistency, then i'd say go for mac lip glass..that's stick and provides great shine as well. As for me, I need some level of comfort in my gloss and this one...no matter how long it lasts, makes me feel like my lips are encased in stick plastic at times. Too sticky
