Surprisingly Excellent!
I was first drawn to Lush's "Baby Face" by the sweet, irresistible image on the soap. And then I went into a pleasant type of shock! This is not typical soap of any kind. I didn't expect it to contain so much oil. It took me several tries to learn to work with this product. Finally, I just dampened my entire face and ran the bar over all of my complexion, including eyes (I assumed it would work there because of the lipid content). Every last trace of dirt, oil, and makeup (even heavy and/or waterproof eye makeup) dissipates with this miraculous bar. Afterward, my skin is divinely soft, smooth, and clean. My sister has very sensitive skin. I gave her a bar. She was hesitant to use it at first but loves it as well. Radical cleanser
The oils and residue of this cleanser is odd at first. But my sensitive and dry skin loves it. I like to run this bar under warm running water (for a second! this bar melts easily) and gently swipe it over both eyes and my cheeks. This is enough cleanse my entire face and it removes even the most stubborn eye makeup. Then to remove the cleanser just use a round cotton pad. Squeaky clean skin without being too drying! I bought a soap container to keep the bar dry. Neat product for even stubborn make-up!
I was reallly unsure that this was going to work when I brought it home from the Lush store. But the sals assistant was very enthusiastic about it, so.... So, I tried it...hmmm....ok, took me a few days and many different ways of using it, but yes, this IS good stuff. I take the bar, and gently rub the back of it onto my face. If I have a Lot of eye make-up on, i will gently rub it over my eyes, if not, I just use the extra from the face onto the eyes. It melts easily into the make-up(after 5 months the face is still perfect :) Then i spray a coupla sprays of Lush "Breath of Freash Air" toner, and use a warm washcloth to remove it all, followed by a wash with a facial soap or creme, or an exfoliating cleanser. Great makeup remover
This is fantastic for removing makeup, including eye makeup. It's very gentle, has a lovely scent and leaves my skin feeling clean but moisturized. Another great and unique Lush product - Baby Face Gently removes makeup and grime from your face. Best used for cleansing skin before bedtime, because it's a bit oily and you will not need moisturizer afterwards. Baby Face does wonders for dry sensitive skin!!! It comes in a convenient bar format and it will foam when you dampen your hands with water & apply this cleanser - but it will most effectively remove ALL make-up and any other stuff from your face. It not only removes makeup completely, but it also deep cleanses your face, for a fresh clean complexion every day! It's great at removing even the most stubborn eye make-up, and finally - just look at that Baby Face!!! It's adorable & creepy at the same time, but the effects of it and the purpose it serves in a most efficient manner, plus the fact that one bar last quite long if you keep it in a dry container between uses, make it the greatest skin cleanser/make-up remover I've ever seen!!!
