Lush H'Suan Wen Hua Reviews

My hair hearts this in a big way
I've tried a smorgasbord of hair treatments/deep conditioners, and this is by far the best. After reading tips on Lush's forum, I applied gobs of this to my hair, covered it with a plastic bag (I didn't have a shower cap!), left it on for two hours, and then shampooed and conditioned as usual. Wow! My perpetually dry, dull, flat hair was shiny and full of bounce. It was so soft that I couldn't keep my hands off it. The results lasted several days, through several washings. Some people might find it's warm spicy smell overpowering, but I like it. I also like the all-natural ingredients, Earth-friendly packaging, and cruelty-free philosophy that's behind all LUSH products. — 4 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 9 of 9 people said helpful

Yuum.
At first sniff, this treatment is very spicy and herb-like. Since I have long, elbow length hair--I used a little under 1/5 of a pot for it and smothered my hair in it, put it up in a bun, and let it set for half an hour. It's very easy to rinse out, and it's not extremely thick either. After washing it off, wow! My hair is scented a nice mellow yet still noticeable scent that lasted for days. My hair feels softer, and has more body and shine. What a great product! I just wish that you didn't have to use so much, but it's entirely worth it because the effects are long term--rather than just loading your hair down with silicons for a temporary effect. A good tip would be to keep it in the fridge because there are little preservatives, and eggs in it. Yet another wonderful product from Lush! — 4 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Fantastic
My hair loves this! I have very long, thick hair and like to give it a treatment once a month in summer and 2-3 times a month in the winter. This product has great smell, goes on well, without running off, and leaves my hair supple and strong. It doesn`t leave a waxy residue like some other products I`ve tried. The smell lingers for about three days, but I don`t mind at all, since it smells so nice! — 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Absolutely love it!
This moisturizer works really well in my hair. I use it about once every two weeks or so and I use just enough to coat my hair (not the full pot of it like they suggest). I have long wavy hair that had problems with drying out at the ends and I have found that with regular use, the H'Suan Wen Hua helps combat that and my hair hasn't felt "crispy" since I started using it. It’s definitely worth the price to moisturize long hair! — 3 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

beautiful shine and bounce
i received a sample of this from the very helpful staff at lush, and honestly didn't know if it was something that i would use on my dry, frizzy, and severely damaged hair-BUT once i did- after only one use, (i left it on my hair for about two hours while i was cleaning the house) took a shower washed and rinsed it out thoroughly, and when i straighted my hair, i could not believe the difference! my hair had incredible bounce and shine! i will continue to use this at least once a month-my best hair day ever, and the effects lasted for over a week! — 4 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Makes Hair Soft
I love this leave in conditioner because it makes my hair super soft. The smell is great, it is spicy and clove-like. All you have to do is work it into your hair, leave it in and wash it out. I have tried other leave in conditioners, but none that have worked as well at getting my hair soft and shiny as this one. The only problem with it is that there is not much in a pot of this, especially if you have long hair. I am also not thrilled about the expiration date, but I understand that this is natural and preservative free. This is worth buying and buying again when it runs out! — 5 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 6 people said helpful

Great shine, healthy hair!
The ingredient list basically reads like salad dressing, but the spicy, clovey smell of H'Suan Wen Hua is so much better. I apply this to my long, straight hair once a week, and it's helped my hair stay sleek and strong. I can go for much longer without seeing split ends or needing a trim. A pot of this usually lasts a month, and it's cheaper than a haircut. The shelf life is four months, but based on the ingredients, I like to keep this in the fridge. — 5 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful
